The Trailer hits on November 2, 2011. That's next Wednesday. People are already speculating that the V stands for Vegas. Personally I'd welcome it because the "Vegas" in GTA: San Andres was the biggest disappointment as far as cities go in otherwise pretty kick ass game. If it is in Vegas this time around, hopefully it will reflect more lifelike than their version of a "Vegas". I can NEVER get enough Vegas. Added Debut Trailer

Nice. Returning to San Andreas. Out of all the GTA games, SA is by far my favorite and the last great installment in the series. When GTA IV first came out, I had discussions with other GTA players and always made mention of how I would like to revisit SA with the new game engine, to see how the environment and characters would look remodeled. I wonder if GTA V will be as robust and epic, meaning will this also have Los Angeles (Duh), San Francisco, Las Vegas, Forrest and Desert as part of the package.

Looks like it's gonna be centered around a new character and not CJ. This is of course based off the trailer and we know never to take it at face value.

Added Grand Theft Auto V: IGN Rewind Trailer

I didn't even think to fathom that could be Tommy Vercetti in the trailer. As for that being CJ in the trailer, it never crossed my mind because he looks the same age, which is impossible given that the story takes place "20 years" later. I did think that the homeless dude was a messed up, down and out Niko though.

GTA V could miss March 2013 Release Date

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhxK9O9r3k4

Although it was sucked not to have it come out in March (not sure if it was ever announced that March was the target date), but I would be okay with a month or two delay if polishing the game made for a better game play experience.

With Rockstar coming out and saying that the bulk of the game takes place in Southern California, there is a lot of speculation that the cities and towns that will appear in the game will include San Diego and possibly Mexico. I for one would love to see San Diego represented in the game and given the history of the GTA franchise, they are very good at replicating historic landmarks down to the smallest detail. So, you can imagine how much of a head trip it would be to play GTA5 in my own neighborhood. I think it's a very good possibility this will happen since Rockstar said that San Francisco and Vegas are not in the game and I can't see GTA5 being situated in just LA for the entire game.

So, I just pre-ordered the game through Gamestop and this is a first for me. I have never pre-ordered through them because they have never given me reason to do so. Whenever I have done pre-orders, it has always been through Amazon. Well, my time with Amazon has pretty much come to an end. A few days ago I set about placing my order through Amazon only to find out that they were going to charge me for same day release / delivery via Prime which would cost me $75. Where this came from, I dunno. But it use to be a free service and now I'm being ask to pay for it? F*ck that sh*t.

So I called around and found that Gamestop not only was offering the same Blimp Bonus, but also a full size double-sided poster for GTA 5. The cherry on top was that they will be opening their doors on Midnight Monday. So, with them I will get two bonuses and the game pretty much a day early at no extra cost. Suck it Amazon. I'm done with you once and for all.

Ever since the announcement of GTA V, everyone has been speculating on which cities will in fact be in-game. For me, I've always wanted to see San Diego in a GTA game, more specifically, GTA V. Would be cool to see this actually bear fruit. Want to see just how many famous landmarks of SD are there. It's a pipe dream for sure. But having one of Rockstar's offices in San Diego does make its inclusion a very real possibility. Well, I have been looking at other GTA V sites (http://gtaforums.com/topic/491219-san-diego-possibility/page-6) and it seems like "Will San Diego be in the game" is a very popular one. Most seem to think it will be. We will know in less than a week when the game comes out.........

Ya know, sometimes it really p*sses me off that these cats get the game 2 weeks earlier than us regular common folks. I get that this is their job and they have to do reviews to pay the bills. But it doesn't curb my jealous one bit that by the time I get the game (Midnight tonight) they will have already moved onto another game most likely. I won't watch this review until much later. Spoilers and all that it implies.

So, I've been playing for almost 2 1/2 hours non-stop (doesn't feel like it at all) and I've only just begun to scratch the surface. All that time and I've completed just 1.6% of the game. Sheesh!!! At this rate, I will finish the game by the time Xbox Four comes out. The game is definitely overwhelming. Lot of stuff to learn. The text on the screen is almost illegible and this is on a Big Screen TV. So, I've had to learn what I can on my own when it comes to controls and what buttons and combos and whatnot does what.......

Loved the 'Chasing the Yacht' Mission on the freeway. Reminded me of the 'Chasing the Firetruck' Mission in GTA San Andreas. This game is addictive to say the least. I have to pull myself away from the game because I'm not going to get anything done.

Post by: Chiprocks1 on September 17, 2013, 12:12:35 pm
This game is beyond awesome. It's f*cking amazing and insanely funny. Couple of missions just happened. One involving Michael runs across  some dude trying to get him to sign a petition and then hands him a joint. One hit later, Michael is tripping the light fantastic and gunning down Aliens with a Gatling Gun. Of course this is all in his head....but very funny. The other mission involved Franklin who is chasing after some dude with his dog Chop. I knew that we could switch out from one player to another, but I didn't know we could actually switch into the dog. Very funny when the dog Chop gets distracted by another mutt....in heat. Well, you can guess what happened next. Hahahahaha.

The game play is great, but what I'm really digging right now are the radio stations. Right now I'm just playing the Rock Station and I LOVE it. A lot of songs I have heard in years. Phil Collin and Steve Winwood. There have been more, but these are the two that come to mind right now. I'm tempted to go online and hunt down the GTA V Radio / Song List to see what's available. But I won't. Half the fun is driving and having the songs surprise me as they air.

I'm getting a real mash-up impression from what I've been seeing about this game-- in a good way.  The gameplay reminds me of Heat, and it looks like the cast is snatched from The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and The Wire.  Which, to me, sounds awesome.
Title: Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Post by: Chiprocks1 on September 17, 2013, 07:53:56 pm
I wish you could be playing this right now. It's f*cking AWESOME! I've already logged in about 15+ hours and I'm still under 2% complete. The Map is HUUUUUUUGE! And get this....I haven't even done my first official heist yet!!!!!!!!!! Insane! A lot of the story does derive from Heat which everyone that has been following the game prior to release is well aware of.

Actually interested in seeing some walkthroughs, and I'm usually not that guy.  It's just that this all looks so madcap brilliant.

BTW, while I did see that one of the girls is modeled after Kate Upton, I can't help but see a resemblance between Michael and DeNiro.

I wonder, actually, are you thinking of Miami Vice as you're playing this.  Obviously I kept thinking "Heat" when the heists come up, but since MV is still fresh in your memory, is it scratching that itch the movie didn't?
Title: Re: Grand Theft Auto V
Post by: Chiprocks1 on September 17, 2013, 08:17:32 pm
Well, the game really doesn't scream Miami Vice. It's basically a HD version of GTA San Andreas as it's in the same city. With that said, the radio stations I have been listening to in-game have been giving me mad flashback to GTA Vice City, which of course was modeled after Miami Vice, even though the songs themselves are not entirely 80's tracks.

So, the character of Jimmy is getting his spot in the story now (Bike race on boardwalk) and the voice is unmistakably Jonah Hill. The character model looks like him as well, but I don't know 100% if it is indeed him. It sure sounds like him though., Funny character. Others are saying that it's Danny Tamberelli who is doing the voice. I find it odd that iMDB has both Jonah and Danny as the voice. Make up you mind!

I just got chills listening to Def Leppard's Photograph driving through "Hollywood" which is something that I use to do back in the day. Deja Vu. Other great songs hitting the radio by Bob Segar, Robert Plant and Hall & Oates. There are a total of 15 stations I think, each with a different genre and each station has tons of different songs and artist. Gonna take time to get through them all. A couple of stations are also "Talk Radio", which I find to be funny and a nice change of pace from music 24/7.

Just completed my first heist (The Jewelry Store). It was fun, especially escaping the cops through the underground Pipe/Tunnel system leading out to the LA River (aka 'Thunder Road as seen in the movie Grease). Very cool. Also cool was the song that I heard on the radio just prior to this was Queen's Radio Gaga. I LOVE this station!!

Trevor IS CRAZY!!! The 'Trevor Rampage' mission took me a few times to nail. All the baddies were coming at me from every single direction. After that moment, when he hops into the car, The Doobie Brothers start playing on the radio and Trevor lets out a disgusted 'aaarrrggh', complaining about this being the wrong music and then promptly changing the channel himself. I couldn't help but laugh thinking of how Mac reacts every time he hears Michael McDonald. Hahahahahahaha. Awesome!

Kate Upton GTA V Comparison

I forgot to post the artwork for GTA V. Ack! Anyway, Neumatic did mention the Kate Upton Image. Speculation is that its actually Shelby Welinder that was the inspiration, while others believe it to be Alexis Texas, but there has been no confirmation one way or the other. You tell me what you guys thing. Anyway, they have the Art Poster for sale as well as a Display Box which is what I'm actually pursuing on eBay for a decent price. I love the image and most likely will get the One-Sheet for it as well.

Haha. Trevor just met up with the guy collecting signatures to pass a bill on legalization. Sure enough, he gives Trevor a hit of the "good stuff" which brings on a hallucination of killer clowns. What's kind of ironic is that the Saints Row series has been labeled a GTA clone, but ramp it up with over the top visuals. Now it looks like GTA is swiping from Saints Row. Who would have ever guessed that would happen.

Prior to this mission, I had Franklin meet up with he same guy and he took a hit but nothing happened. I drove off thinking that the hallucination would come delayed. Nothing happened. Hmmm.... The torture scene where Trevor inflicts the pain on some hostage was a bit unsettling.

Trevor's Rampage Mission against the Army was INSANE and very hard. Took me 5-6 times to finally complete it. Hands are sore from clenching the controller so hard. Ouch!! There's nothing quite like blowing up Army Tanks left and right with just a rocket launcher and exposed with no protection whatsoever.

Now I've seen EVERYTHING! This isn't your typical GTA game. Never thought I see the day that there would be Chimpanzees circling Michael, only to be abducted by Aliens onto their UFO. Insanely funny. Love it!. There have been a ton of great dialogue scenes as well as the story that is unfolding. Gotta get back to the game now.........

A Fair Day's Pay Mission is the most exhilarating mission I've played thus far, not just in GTA V, but in any game. As Michael, you shoot down a plane in mid-air, and as Trevor, you are racing through the city on a motorcycle, tracking the trajectory of the plane that is about to crash. Driving at full speed, dodging cars in traffic and everything else in your way all while keeping an eye on the descending plane is something that can't be describe. The heart was definitely racing. Wow!

An interesting and odd thing just happened. After casing out the Union Depository Bank, as Trevor, I was to return the Helicopter back to the airfield. So that's where I was headed and just as I got near the the airfield, Michael's Icon came on screen, prompting me to switch from Trevor to Michael, which I did. As soon as I completed the switch and dropped into Michael, he was going 100 mph, head-on collision. It was all instantaneous. No time to brake or swerve or nothing. Crazy.

Union Depository Heist / The Big One was fun, but I found it to be a little easier than I would have liked it to be. Sure, they threw a ton of cops at me, but I still thought that there should have been MORE cops coming in wave after wave. Well, apparently this wasn't the final mission. Franklin gets cornered a little later in the game and is being threatened to either kill Trevor or Michael or have the heat coming his way. Because I like all 3 characters, especially Trevor and Michael, I chose Option C, to bring the heat my way. Don't wanna kill either one. It's gonna be the 3 Amigos taking on EVERYONE! Bring it on motherf*cker!!!!!!!!!

Now that's what I'm talking about! The final Mission (To Live or Die In Los Santos) threw everything and the kitchen sink in it! Man, that was a long ass mission too! I didn't time it, but I would say it clocked in around 45 minutes. Sure, I kept dying at the beginning which made it a bit longer. But I got my monies worth for sure.

How many people worked on GTA V? Well, enough people to make the end credits well over half an hour if not longer. That's the end of my campaign missions. I still have a bunch of side missions I get to complete and then there is GTA V Online which goes live on October 1, 2013. Can't wait!!!!!

But something in the back of my mind told me not to shell out for the Gold Pass on Xbox Live because I suspected that there would be a lot of issues given how massive the Online world is and how many people would be diving in on Day 1. Sure enough. it has been plague with countless problems. Even though some of the issues have been fixed, I'm gonna wait a couple of weeks, maybe longer, to see if all the bugs have been worked out.

It's free Gold Membership on Xbox this weekend which means you get to play online for....FREE. Duh. Anyway, I'm really frustrated with GTA Online right now. I was able to get online and do a couple of tutorial missions and get up to Rank 3. After that, I get kicked off and lose any progress, meaning I have to start back at Rank 1. What's really p*ssing me off is that I did the 'exit' GTA Online way, which saves any progress made. Well, it doesn't work. Twice I've gotten to Rank 3 and twice I've lost all progress.

F*ck!

I missed rollin' with my homie's during the campaign that I decided to call up Trevor and Franklin just to hang out. First we hit a Movie (which btw was f*cking HILARIOUS!!!). Then we headed to the Strip Club, lap dance central!! Next stop, headed over to play a full 9 holes of Golf, which was damn fun and entertaining. Watching them unleash profanity at every missed shot was well worth playing the game for. By the way, I got my ass handed to me. I suck at golf. After that, swung by a Bar for some drinks......got hammered.

As I mentioned elsewhere, I have been putting in a lot of hours in GTA V Online, trying to get as much done as far as missions go as well as achievements before my 1 month Gold membership expires. Recently, I have been deabating whether or not to return to GTA IV to play as I haven't touched that game in a couple of years if not longer. But the more I think about playing it, the less I want to leave the world of Los Santos in GTA V. Even though I liked GTA IV back in the day, Liberty City itself left me feeling cold. The fictional city is based on New York and all that it implese. Yes, there's even a Statue of Liberty.

I think the reason why I will always choose Los Santos over Liberty City is based on a real-world bias of mine. I'm a West Coast kid. As fascinating as it was to play on the East Coast, it just can't hold a candle to life on the West Coast, be it in video games or real life.

Here's a story of why I think GTA V Online is simply the greatest thing ever for gaming. The Online mode is unpredictable and offers something new each and every time you play it. Case in point, this is what happened to me this afternoon. One of the things that happens in Online Mode is that you can get a Bounty placed on your head, ranging from $1k to $15k. What happens when you get a Bounty on you is that your White Dot on the map turns into a Red Skull, which tells all the other players currently online that you are a target. Whoever kills the player with the Bounty collects the reward.

Bounties set off a chain reaction as players swarm on you from all sides, taking their shots and hoping for the best. It's both scary and exciting at the same time, in which you become the primary motivation for EVERYONE playing GTA V Online. So, once I was alerted to the Bounty being placed on me (a retaliation from another player who had a Bounty that I was trying to collect. I didn't succeed......yet). My first inclination when I realized I was Bounty marked was to head to the beach and I would just swim as far as I could out in the ocean. But after thinking about how exhausting that would be to button mash the entire time to make my player swim, I quickly thought of another way to go.

I went straight to the harbor to grab a helicopter and make pursuit of  the guy that placed the bounty on me. I tracked him down at the airport and we engaged in some mid air machine gun play. But I was taking to much damage, so I had to retreat back into the city away from the airport when I was being targeted by another player in a Luxury Plane. If you are in this plane, you can't fire any kind of weapons. So, I'm sure you can guess what happened next. We are 20,000 feet in the air when he is making flybys, trying to crash his plane into my helo. He nicked me a couple of times, but on the third flyby, he actually crashed into me, blowing himself up! But what was shocking is that my helo actually survived the blast, but I did take some serious damage as my helo's power had gone out and I had to land the top of a skyscraper as I was descending at a fast rate.

So, I'm trapped, with nowhere to go. Can't parachute off the building because I am surrounded by sh*tload of players waiting at the bottom of the building to pounce on me. What is worst is that I have a 3 Star Wanted Level. When you get 3 Stars or more, that's when Cops in Helo's descend on you and shoot at you. So, I'm on top of the building, ducking and dodging the bullets, trying to hide (if you can successfully hide for a certain length of time, the wanted level goes back to 0. So, this went out for a good 10 minutes. Did not think I would last much longer. But this is where the story gets good....

The player that placed the Bounty on me had gotten a different Helo with machine guns and came at me blasting away. So, I have to dodge this f*cker as well as two Cop Helos!!!!!!! It was INSANE. Whenever I had a few seconds of peace, I would unload on the player and I mean I UNLOADED like never before and I couldn't take him down! He was heavily armored, which saved him time and time again. But I didn't quit. I kept at it and ducked behind some cover waiting for his return fire. I didn't see him, but I heard a huge EXPLOSION and saw the wreckage of his helo on the corner of my rooftop. I immediately went over and just started unloading on the burning pile of junk when I realized that if you in it when it explodes, there is no surviving,

So, I gloat and start to walk away when I see that the f*cker had not only escaped from the helo, but he was parachuting/gliding onto my roof. We both started to panic to see who would be able to kill the other. By the skin of my teeth, I came out on top. This was a moment that I wished I had the ability to record it all because to me, this was EPIC in every way and it's something that will NEVER be duplicated by any other player for as long as the game exist, I eventually got the Ride Like The Wind Achievement, where you have to survive a full day with a Bounty on your head. Full day in GTA V is about 50 minutes of non-stop game play. I'm very proud of this particular achievement as it's insanely hard to get. Most people "cheat" by hiding in their garages or houses where other players can't get into for the entire duration of playtime. I did it the right way. Man, THAT was FUN!!!!

For obvious reasons, I had to document this moment here. If I can't have video, at least I will be able to read about it again and again in the future.

GTA 5 - Fall Through the Map Glitch

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zti-2XNh21c

So, last night, my avatar got stuck in a repeated free fall glitch. The video above isn't the exact same thing as mine was uninitiated by myself. When I loaded the game and went to Online mode, I went to my garage and saw that all my vehicles were gone. When I started heading back tot the elevator, that's when my avatar fell through the floor and went into free fall mode. Repeatedly. What was trippy is that as I contiually fell over and over, you could see other players avatars doing the same thing. The cherry on top was hearing all the avatars screaming "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" as they fell. It was funny as f*ck. I had to exit Online and go to regular GTA V mode, but the problem persisted. I went back into Online Mode and tried a few things to get out of free fall mode. The one thing that worked was to just head down to the street instead of the garage. Problem solved.

Honestly I think it's the best looking game ever. I forgot to post my thoughts when I was in the middle of my Chuck marathon, but there were a lot of instances in the show with exterior shots and I'd get goosebumps because I would see certain locations on the show and immediately recognize where it was in-game. It was THAT good. They recently announced the Xbox One version of GTA V, which only means the game will look even BETTER than it already is, which blows my mind.

This Slo-Mo video is f*cking awesome. I didn't realize just how much stuff I was missing. It's through no fault of my own. The game goes a 100 mph and one can be easily distracted by the missions or just by being chased by other players that you can't really take it all in the heat of the moment. But the video does an amazing job of highlighting some of those moments in great detail. I can watch this video over and over......

A big announcement dropped today and that was the first Heist Trailer for GTA V Online. For anyone that has owned the game since it came out, each and EVERYONE of us have been waiting patiently for a year and a half for the Heist game-play that was promised us on Day 1. Well, after reading the interview here (http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/12/16/grand-theft-auto-5-online-heists-finally-revealed), I totally understand why the long delay, especially given the huge scope of the forthcoming content that is set to arrive sometime in early 2015. You know, if you get the PC version of the game (GTA IV), it comes with an in-game editor which is built in specifically for creator mini films like this. I will eventually get around to getting one just for that option. GTA V on PC comes out in January, 2015.

I'd start knocking out all the stories that I'e written over the years. There would be a few that would have to be updated to fit within the GTA World because as robust as the game is, it won't be able to accommodate everything on the page as it stands now. Obviously a couple of Sci-Fi heavy stories are off the table because they are unfilmable with the game. I think I'd be able to cheat my way through a couple of post-apocalypse stories I have if I shoot it out in the desert.

The Movies (PC) - Video Review

FYI, I would be getting the PC version of the game just for the editor. I wouldn't "play" it in the same sense as I would on Xbox. It would be my own little studio. Hey, did you ever get into The Movies PC game where you could run a studio and film whatever you wanted and edit it later? I was so into that game. I miss working with that. The Movies community was fun to be a part of as we would get other people to do voice acting and I'd do the same for whoever needed a role filled.

I didn't have that (always had Macs) but I remember toying with those so-called "cartoon creators" and never really being impressed with them.  I get tied up in little details that those games really don't allow you to get into.  Having said that, I DID try to make a whole animated movie using Kid Pix Studio to make the individual cels.  With NO stylus or scanner, all with the mouse.  I miss having that insane level of determination.

So, a few days ago, GTA released another holiday themed DLC pack which included new weapons to go along with new Clothes, Mask, Scarves, Shoes, etc...all related to Christmas. Santa and Elf costumes, Santa masks, elf shows. You get the idea. Well, along with that, it was also stated that it would snow in the game environment but issued a warning that snowfall is very, very rare and was random. Anyway, after a few days of playing and waiting for the snow to come, I just ended up forgetting about it all together thinking that it would most likely happen on Xmas day.

A few hours ago I was in the middle of doing one of my contract missions at night time and half way through it.......it started to snow and is was frickin' awesome. I was driving to my next location when it hit, the snow blanketing everything in pure white and it gave me chills. It was surreal to witness it happening in real time. One of the other bonus perks of the DLC pack was that my condo has a Xmas tree with presents now as well as huge Christmas tree in the downtown plaza. Went there during the day as well as at night to see it with the lights. But the best perk of it all is that with snow comes.....snowball fights. Yup, you can now have snowball fights with your friends or anyone you want which was very fun to do as silly as this all sounds. They had the snow option last Christmas, so I hear. I didn't get to experience it because they were having server issues, so I chose to sit it all out until the online play was 100% fixed.

So, I have kinda been burned out playing GTA V, waiting for the Bank Heist DLC to come out (2 years after they said it would come out). Sigh. You can imagine how much you can play the same missions over and over before you just get bored. With no new stuff to do within the game, I decided to bust out GTA IV. It has been at least 5-6 years since I last fired this up on the console, so you can imagine my shock at how starteling it was to see on my 50 Inch Vizio TV. It looks totally different from what I was accustomed to on my other TV. But that wasn't the most shocking thing to discover. No, it was playing the game that showed just how clunky it is compared to GTA V. Sh*t, we are talking Black and White here. The driving mechanics are awful and the button controls are all over the place. It just made me appreciate GTA V all the more. You gotta remember, even though I hadn't played GTA IV in years, I still considered it to be one of the greatest technical marvels in video gaming history. After today.....not so much. No, that honor goes to GTA V for sure as it sent me running back to the game immediately afterwards. I didn't play more than 10 minutes of GTA IV before bailing on it.

So, today is THE DAY. After a year and a half of promises from Rockstar Games, the Heist Pack was finally released this morning and guess what....YA CAN'T PLAY!!! I'm guessing that it's a server issue. With the entire world (not an overstatement), their servers are being overloaded and people just can't get in. I managed to play the 'Set up' portion of the Fleece Job. Beyond that, I can't get past this, even after 'passing' the job. Sigh.

I finished the Prison Break Heist last night and it was hella awesome. Very fun. Currently in the middle of the The Humane Labs Raid Heist, which is even better than the last one. Well, I haven't gotten the the Heist itself for this one. Still working on the setup portion of the job. Trying to steal a Harrier Jet from an aircraft carrier. It's proving to be problematic as I'm being paired up with the dumbest players online. They have no clue about clearing a section before moving on. They have it in their heads that they can just run and gun their way through it. Ya can't!!

Gawd, this game becomes an "event" for me even when it's not called upon. So, last night my disc was suddenly stopping mid-game and kicking me back to the Xbox Dashboard. Every time I would try to load the game, I would get an error message saying the disc was 'unreadable'. After cleaning it a few times to no avail, I noticed that there was a crack on the inner ring. The crack was the tiniest hair into the edge of where the information is stored. It was enough that it f*cked it all up and made it unplayable. F*CK! So, I had to hit eBay and search in vain for another copy. Only problem is that I wasn't going to pay anything more than $20 for it. I didn't need the bonus DLC disc which I have, as well as the case and the map. Just needed to find someone that was willing to sell the 'Play Disc'. After 30 minutes I locked in on a seller and convinced them to sell it to me as a Buy It Now option from their 7 day auction. I just do not have the patience to wait that long to get back into the Heist DLC I waited 1.5 years for. So, got the disc for 10 bucks and they shipped it out this morning. Probably won't see it arrive here before Wednesday. It's certainly better than waiting 2 whole weeks, that's for sure. I usually work and give myself little breaks to play some GTA throughout the day. Today was f*cking boring being without it!!! Some people smoke on their breaks, I play GTA. Ack!!  ;D

I'm still trying to figure out how the crack even came into existence. I handle all my stuff with kid gloves on the off chance I sell on eBay.

UPDATE:

When I got my replacement disc back a few weeks ago, I made up for lost time that I wasn't playing by trying to cram in all the Heists at once. Yeah, I finished them all a while back but the thing is, I'm still replaying as many as I can because each Heist has different jobs. So, you get to see and play it from a different point of view which keeps things interesting. I love it. Rumor has it there are suppose to be 3 new Heist in the future. I would love to see those, but I'm not holding my breath. I think it's just more fan-talk of wanting more then something that is actually coming to us.

GTA 5 PC Editor First Look - IGN Plays

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtbNuViZcqY

I was not expecting to get any kind of walk-through or tutorial for the Editor this fast. This is a nice surprise. The editor itself looks great. Can't wait to get my hands on this. What's really great about this is that the game-play, animation within the game itself offers so much, especially gun-play, explosions and fast cars. This will allow me to expand my writing to incorporate all that and more. Usually when I'm writing for stuff I do with my friends, it has to be "budget" friendly. By that I mean I can't write elaborate stuff that I can't film live. So, I can now write in a broader sense knowing full well that I can tell my story within the GTA world. I'm very stoked about this.

Prepare to lose time as you get sucked into Los Santos. You're gonna have a blast. Let me know how it's going over there.

GTA 5 REDUX - OFFICIAL LAUNCH TRAILER

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k10RdQU6Jxo

This is essentially an entirely new game and it's insane to see. Not just a quick paint job, but a full re-imagining of everything from Textures, animation, explosions, weather FX and more. The fact that they were able to go in and change out physical game play (like substituting Military in place of cops when you get 5 Stars) is amazing. I also love how they even added simple things like the GTA IV rag doll effect. Both of these were omitted in GTA V, so it's great to see them back where they belong. Unreal trailer. Rockstar should pay the modders for their work because this mod will no doubt increase PC sales. What really blows my mind is that you get to play the campaign / story mode from start to finish using this mod and thus why I said it's a "new game".

Naturally I'm gonna buy GTA V for Xbox One as it has more stuff than what the Xbox 360 has. So, with my newest copy arriving in the mail today, this will make the 3rd copy I paid for. Two for Xbox 360 (one was a replacement for the first one that  c r a c k e d  and was no longer playable) and one for newest Xbox One S Console. Now I have to set back and wait while my copy installs a whopping 43gb of content. Sheesh! It's gonna take forever to get done.

The video is a rundown of the actual site that can be found here (http://grandtheftdata.com/landmarks/#0,0,2,satellite) and it's pretty dope. The fact that this site exist is proof of how passionate people are about GTA V. Love it.

Daaaaaaaaamn! I thought the previous Realistic Mod was epic. This new and improved Mod makes the last one look like "garbage". Seriously, this Mod is unbelievable!

GTA Online: Transform Races Trailer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0rEOAJ_6tY

Most of the Stunt Races and Adversary Modes DLC's they have been releasing have just not interested me all that and the few that I did end up playing sucked......never to revisit again. But I have been anxiously awaiting the Transform Races ever since news dropped a couple of months back and the Trailer delivers what I was hoping it to be. 4 more days and I'll get to finally give this one a workout.
