The Long Way Down Job

I'm glad to see Leverage is back, but the season premiere for Season 4 was a bit lackluster to me. The twist that usually ends pretty much every episode of the series was pretty good though. But overall, The Long Way Down Job was a bit of a let down.

This was vintage Leverage in all it's glory. When you get a twist at the end that makes you smile, you have done something good.  ;D

That was hands down the best episode of the entire series. For The Van Gogh Job, the entire cast reenacts the flashback scenes for Danny Glover's character, which takes place during the years of WWII. Everyone did an exceptional job and the story itself was pretty good too. Fantastic cast, which never disappoints and a great job by Danny Glover as well makes this episode a winner.  :)

This was a super fun episode all around. At first I thought I was watching Fringe with those to Observer look-alikes. I like that the team ended up using the little kid as part of the group to teach him about breaking into a highly restricted security zone and then using him to transport the potato outside....well, a piece of the potato anyway. I thought it was funny how the remainder of the potato was used to feed everyone in the company as french fries. Haha.

Great episode. Loved how the job suddenly turned into a rescue mission. Elliot got his a** handed to him and still came back to lay down the smack down.  The scenes between him and Molly were pretty good as well.

Solid episode that had a very bizarre ending. The a long time now, Hardison and Parker have been dancing around each other. But it wasn't until Hardison was put in a box 6 feet under that convinced Parker that she needed and wanted him, and obviously this was bulinging toward THE moment where they were going to finally embrace once he was out of the ground. Not only did we not get the embrace, at the very end, Hardison trying to kiss her felt awkward in that it wasn't on the lips but instead on the cheek. Weird. No pay-off here.

The team goes head to head with the world's greatest Con Man. If you can't con him, just steal from him. Pretty good twist at the end in having a room full of commodities traders being played by the Con Man's own marks and victims. I just naturally assumed that they were actors being hired to play their respective roles. No idea they actually at a stake in the outcome of...the con.
