I havent watched this since the day I bought it when it first came out, and for good reason. I totally forgot why I haven't this morning when I popped it in the DVD Player. This is bad. Reeeeeeeeeally bad.
First off, the "concert" is 4 songs. That's it.
Second, I HATE when the editor/director (some guy in the truck with all the monitor feeds) decides that he is just going to continually and randomly cut from bandmate to bandmate for the sake of doing it. What we end up getting is a headache and no sense of an actual concert experience. The "editor" is clearly trying to justify his paycheck by doing something.
Third, KISS isn't even playing it live. For a band that made it's reputation as a LIVE band, this is about as low as they could go, playing to canned music. They would of course go even lower a few years later when they replaced Peter and Ace with Eric and Tommy with their makeup. But that's another story.
Gets 1 star for the explosions, since that's the only thing that was LIVE.
This is a definite Skip, something that I can't undo since I bought this turd fest.
