Hahaha. The Triangle solo is about the funniest thing I've seen at a concert.

Foo Fighters (Live At Wembley 2008)

I've seen bits and pieces of this concert on Palladia for the last couple of years. But I always got distracted with something else to do around the house, or work or whatever. It's not till now that I finally got to see the whole 2 hour show. It's mind blowing that you can get such high quality stuff posted online. This concert was tailored made for High Definition. The video looks amazing and the audio is great too. This is what you call a professional gig with all the trimmings. Tons of cameras all around the arena gives us many choice shots for editing.

The best moment in the show obviously is the encore when they bring out Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin fame. Dave Grohl sits in on the drums and Taylor Hawkins takes over on vocals for Rock And Roll. Dave takes over on vocals for Rambling On with Taylor back on skins. But the best song of the night would have to be Best Of You. Great Set List, but there are a few other songs I would have liked to see here. I wasn't fond of how they redid my all time favorite Foo Fighters song My Hero when they turned it into a "power ballad". Bah!

Thanks bud... didn't EVEN think about it already being posted.

The sudden interest in Foo Fighters is that we started first thing last night working hard on Learn To Fly. The percussion is challenging me.  :-\
Can't quite get my kick and snare working together.

The guitars are a challenge to the guys too.

Freakin' cool song.

Not sure what's happening with the link. I copied/pasted it a couple of times and it still comes up broken. If you click on the Home page of that link, it has the article of Foo Fighters.

Foo Fighters with Paul Stanley - Detroit Rock City and Do You Love Me? (The Forum, Los Angeles - 1/10/15 2015)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqWYHR1TBBc

Heard about this last night and kept waiting all night for people to upload to YouTube. Nothing. It wasn't until this morning did I find a couple of videos. The band and Paul sounded great. Taylor Hawkins was and is great on the skins. They did the songs justice. Foo Fighters sound and play better than the current line up of KISS. Now get Dave Grohl into KISS makeup!! Haha.

Foo Fighters with David Lee Roth - Panama & Ain't Talking Bout Love (The Forum, Los Angeles - 1/10/15 2015)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuctDsNYjNE

Man, Grohl sure knows how to throw himself a Birthday party! This was great. Foo Figthers sound better than Van Halen.  :P  So, Roth finally shaves his head bald? This is the first I'm seeing him bald. Not sure if it's because he is tired of trying to 'hide' his thinning hair or if it's something else all together. If you watch the video, you will see what looks like a massive surgical scar on the back of his head. Anyway, with that out of the way, great performance by all.

Foo Fighters with Tenacious D and Slash - Tie Your Mother Down (The Forum, Los Angeles - 1/10/15 2015)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCouehFewIA

Sh*t, this is probably the song of the night. It's certainly my favorite so far. Awesome cover version of Queen's Tie Your Mother Down. Slash ftw! They also performed The Immigrant Song, but I haven't been able to find a good sounding clip as of yet. Will post when I do find one. Really hope someone uploads the full concert.

Maybe David talked to Peter Frampton and got some advice.

Dave Grohl breaks his leg during show in Gothenburg, Sweden

I'm sure you guys have heard what happened. If you haven't seen the video yet....stick around to the end of this one, it's f*cking awesome. Just another reason why you should call Dave the ultimate professional and all around good guy.

Foo Fighters with random Superfan Brian - Tom Sawyer (Rush Cover song)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDWfMv3BloE

Mac posted this elsewhere, but having just watched it numerous times, I just had to re-post it here because I know I'm gonna keep coming back to this for sure. Awesome find Mac.  :) As for the fan that got up to perform amid thousands of fans, kudo's to him. He NAILED it and did the song and the band justice.

....and yes, Dave is the ultimate in cool. Always and forever will be super cool.

Nirvana Reunion at CalJam 2018

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGLTJjkmctM&t=603s

Obviously not a Foo Figthers show. But decided to drop this Nirvana Reunion concert in this thread. I saw watched the most recent reunion show earlier this week and because I did, this one from 2018 popped up in my feed. This is a great looking and sounding video. Love that it's shot from the back of the stage so that we can see what the band sees. These types of concert footage is what I want to see more of. As for the sound....you just can't beat that rumbling, reverb and thunder the drums and bass are producing. THIS is what a really concert sounds like.....not the polish they put on for DVD releases.
