There are Concerts and then there are Concert Films. This falls into the latter. Awesome As F*ck plays more like long form music video than an actual concert. With all the video FX, color changes and behind the scenes added throughout the show, you never really can get into like you would a bootleg concert. At least I couldn't. Keep in mind that this was released for massive public consumption, so there isn't going to be any flaws anywhere when it comes to singing and music. This has a nice shine to it. The songs are great with a packed Set List and is full of energy from start to finish. But for me, it's a little too polished. I prefer the true "Live" shows with all the mistakes that come with putting yourself and your band on the line in front of 40,000 people, or even just a standing-room-only crowd of 300.

Green Day *Cover Songs - Van Halen Led Zeppelin Kiss and more....* Detroit Michigan @ DTE Energy 8/23/2010

I found this clip a few days ago and it's just awesome. It may be "staged" but it comes off as spur of the moment, which is what I like to see. See how many riffs you can recognize on your own.

Agreed. I'm gonna do a run of Green Day concerts. It's been awhile since I have listened to anything of theirs live. Should be fun. Now if only SpacemanaceLive would upload a ton of new concerts.....I'd be set for life!  ;D

In this clip they do one of my favorite Iggy Pop Songs Search and Destroy. It's the one earlier in the little sequence with Billy actually sings..

his guitar tone throughout the whole thing is so ballsy for a little piece of **** guitar!
