Trust me dude, I searched for the Slippery When Wet and New Jersey Tours. They don't exist. As a matter fact, I'm questioning if I ever even saw Slippery Live in person. Bah!!!

I will always choose to watch Bon Jovi from their glory years of their first 5 Tours over anything that has come since and that includes this concert. Having said that, this Concert f*cking ROCKS! What a great show from start to finish. This was the final show of their Circle Tour and they went out with a bang. Pretty much all the biggest hits are there, but it's not a complete Greatest Hits Set List. There are some omissions that belong like Runaway, She Don't Know Me and In And Out Of Love just to name a few. In spite of those omissions, this is still one for the books. Performances of the night go to Wanted Dead Or Alive and I Believe, which gave me chills, and Richie Sambora gets the MVP award for the night. He was smoking!! I will definitely come back to revisit this show again.

The '84 Tour was the first one for me for Bon Jovi. They were the opening act on the same bill with Queensryche and KISS who were on their Animalize Tour. The entire show was awesome and is one of my all time favorite bills with 3 amazing bands in one night. The above link to their '84 show is audio only, but it's still a kick ass show. Definitely give it a go, it's only 45 minutes long, about the same time slot they got back when I saw them.

Great show, but far too short. As mentioned in my previous post, this takes place during 1984, when they broke big with Runaway. The only thing that would make Live From Paris even better is if the entire show was shot on video. It's not, but who cares, the music more than makes up for the lack of moving pictures.
