This is the 2nd time I have seen Warrant in concert. The first time I saw them perform live was when they did a showcase at Guitar Trader here, which is where I use to hang out at all the time. This was before they broke "big" with "Down Boys". Although their set that day was fairly short, they didn't really possess anything memorable for me. It was the typical "hair band" routine that was predominant in the day. Only the select few bands really rose above it all to carve out a legacy and do something original.

This is not the case with Warrant here. You can't go higher than your lead singer, i.e. Jani Lane, is willing to take you. In the Nakano show, it's clear that he really doesn't have that X Factor to lead a crowd and take them wherever he wants to. This show, although it had some good songs in it, just kept going downhill from the start. I like Warrant, just not as a live band. They wrote some pretty good songs over the years. But as a live act, they couldn't cut it...both times I've seen them.
