Having just wrapped up my James Cameron marathon, it's time to put his films into context. So, pick what you think is his greatest film of all time. And for bonus points, put all of his films in order from favorite to slightly less favorite. (http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Smilies/0%20All%20Smilies/HTL_smile.gif)

My Favorite James Cameron Films In Order:

1. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
2. Titanic
3. Aliens
4. The Terminator
5. The Abyss
6. Avatar
7. True Lies

I forgot to add Dark Angel: Freak Nation (2002) and Ghosts of the Abyss (2003) to the Poll.

Fixed.

Dark Angel is the series starring Jessica Alba. James Cameron directed the Series Finale, Freak Nation. Ghost Of The Abyss is a documentary detailing the dives to the Titanic.

Hey, there is nothing wrong with Titanic. I think it's an awesome movie. But then again, I am a history buff and have a biased acceptance toward movies like Titanic, Pearl Harbor, etc.....

James Cameron expresses interest in directing Prometheus sequel

Quote
UPDATE: Insiders tell me that James Cameron was making a slightly humorous off handed comment about making a Prometheus sequel and they’d be surprised if it amounted to anything, considering how busy the director will be preoccupied with Avatar sequels.

EARLIER: Here is a shocker. James Cameron tells The Guardian that after making a groundbreaking sequel to Ridley Scott’s classic film Alien, he now says he wants to make the sequel to Prometheus, Scott’s return to that hallowed ground. The proximity to April Fools always heightens one’s skepticism, but Cameron was out stumping for the 3D conversion of Titanic and when the journalist, Henry Barnes, directly quotes Cameron, you’ve got to pay attention. “There’s a gap of a few years between Prometheus and the original Alien,” Cameron told The Guardian. “That gap is meant for me to answer all the questions raised in Prometheus.”

There was a seven year gap between Scott’s film and Cameron’s sequel Aliens, and there might be that kind of time gap if this really goes forward. After all, Cameron committed to make two more installments of his all-time box office champ Avatar for Fox, when that studio pried him away from directing Cleopatra for Sony Pictures with Angelina Jolie starring. Fox releases Prometheus on June 8. Trying to find out more about this.

It's just rumors

I thought this was the plan all along. I remember reading somewhere that Cameron always wanted to do another Aliens movie as long as Ridley did #5 and that he would come in and do #6. Release Prometheus now so that Cameron and get started on filming his follow up!!!

Not hearing rumors like that... Of late.
I think Scott is still doing the follow-up... But anything is possible.
