Galaxy Quest is the best movie I can think of that perfectly blends Sci-Fi, Action Adventure and Comedy. And the comedy isn't dumb-down for cheap laughs either. It goes for situational comedy that makes it even funnier. Tim Allen was great here and Sigourney Weaver has never looked hotter or more adorable as she does here. (http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Smilies/0%20All%20Smilies/HTL_drool.gif) Alan Rickman was awesome as usual and Enrico Colantoni was fantastic as well. But amid all these actors, the one that absolutely steals every single frame he is in, was of course Sam Rockwell. The Guy (pun intended) always cracks me up with his reactions to every bad situation he is faced with.

I love this movie and highly recommend this to everyone that is a fan of the genre. I own it and this is an absolute Must-Buy for you guys and gals.

I love Galaxy Quest. There is a unique chemistry of some actors that I would have never thought of casting... Together. Great special effects just add the comedy factor. Space balls, while considered a classic, which spoofs Star Wars, likewise shows it's age. Galaxy Quest spoofing Star Trek, holds up far better and I could easily watch over and over.

Tim Allen always make me laugh. If you've never seen his early standup, I highly recommend checking them out. Rockwell just made me laugh out loud.

Funny, funny movie. I haven't bought it, but should.

If you do pick this one up, get the newer edition. I have the original DTS release. It's bare bones. I would like to hear what the new version is like with regards to video, audio and most importantly....bonus material, is concerned.

Had no idea this was coming....to a theater near me (it most likely isn't, given my location). Definitely on my must-see list.
