Title: Whitney Houston (August 9, 1963 – February 11, 2012)

Singer Whitney Houston dies at 48 (http://www.cnn.com/2012/02/11/showbiz/whitney-houston-dead/index.html)

What the hell. Even though you could see this coming, I'm still somewhat shocked. Shame that she let her career get derailed by drugs, which we can blame on Bobby Brown. Bad influence anyone? Sad.

she was an incredibly talented singer but I have heard and I don't know if this is true.....the image the label originally projected of her being this nice girl next door 'could have been Miss America' type thing was not the reality.

so blaming all the drugs on Bobby might not be totally accurate/

she was pretty street smart herself and if you've ever heard her talk (even in early interviews when she was un-coached with no "stock" answers......she sounds more like she's from the hood, then a miracle mile where songs grew on trees.

so you never know...drugs and alcohol might have been in the mix since back when she was a teen.

She may have been into drugs before Bobby, but she was always straight laced in the public eye. As soon as they hooked up, she became very bizarre and with his own addiction, it sent her on a downward spiral faster than if she had never met him is how I perceive this. However way you slice it, it's just a huge loss that drugs got in the way of an amazing singer.

Death is sad any way you look at it. And with drugs in the picture, it becomes a head-scratcher. Another classic case of an amazing talent with the world at her feet and the demon winning over.

Now that you have watched and listened to the video.

It was AWFUL!! Why is Hudson seeing this like she is Barry White? Her voice was like 3 octaves lower. Why is she singing this so deep? I for one did not like this version of the song at all.

Sorry, that whole family is phucked up. Despite her great voice, I don't have much love for what she and Brown represented at all.

The guy is a dick and an opportunist. This shouldn't surprise you one bit. In other news, I've always, ALWAYS hated Nancy Grace and it didn't surprise me one bit that she would turn Whitney's passing into a chance to claim that she was "murdered" just to goose her ratings.

Seriously, I HATE THIS F UCKING B ITCH!!!!!!!!!

Again, a sad thing. Too bad she did have enough sense to ask for help or the will power. Drugs are a ****... As we constantly are witnessing.
