Superbad is super awesome! I've lost track of how many times I have watched this one. It never gets old and seems to get funnier each time. Johah Hill is KING here as Seth. He was the best thing about the movie and always cracks me up. He is so good here that it was because of this role which made it somewhat difficult picturing him in Moneyball (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/dvd's-blu-rays/moneyball-(2100)/msg6603/#msg6603) as a straight-man with not one joke to be found. I thought he was good in that one, but it was GREAT in Superbad. I thought that Michael Cera as Evan was pretty good as well, but even he gets upstaged by Christopher Mintz-Plasse, better known to the world as McLovin. With a name like that, how can you go wrong?

Other stands out are Seth Rogen (Officer Michaels), who co-wrote the screenplay, Bill Hader (Officer Slater) and the one and only Emma Stone as Jules. The story is basically your typical end-of-the-year house party with High School Graduation just around the corner. What makes this one so unique is the pairs that carry the movie. Seth and Evan, and McLovin, Officer Michaels and Officer Slater and all the shenanigans that ensures getting to the party.

Some would say this is nothing more than a juvenile High School flick. That might be true on the surface because it's got plenty of dick and fart jokes to go around, but if you dig a little deeper it's also got heart. Oh, did I mention that Emma Stone is in it? (http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i266/Chiprocks1/Smilies/0%20All%20Smilies/HTL_love.gif) If American Pie can have 20 sequels, I think it's only fair that they give us at least one for Superbad.

Highly recommend as a Buy. My copy comes with a booklet and stickers. There's a few different versions out there, so you better look closer to see which one you are getting if you do buy one.

I got tickets for two to a secret movie premiere. I took my son an we did not have a clue to what was showing. I had not even heard about any heads up with trailers about Superbad.

The credits roll and it looks like a throw back to some 70's movieis.

The it starts and we enjoy one of the best comedies I've seen in a long time. I believe Superbad was the start of the R-rated comedies.

Loved this flick. Don't know if I'd own it, but definitely recommend people checking it out.

I McLovin' this movie each time I watch it. I was in the mood for some Emma Stone tonight and decided to pop this one in...again. This is just a fun movie. Fun times. Fantastic, memorable scenes that still keep me laughing. I'm still waiting for my sequel. Make it happen! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know it will never happen and I actually understand what Jonah means about 'cheapening' the original by making an inferior follow-up. I actually commend him for sticking to his guns. I wish more people in Hollywood had that kind of integrity.

I don't remember liking Superbad that much.  Wonder why that is, particularly since I dug both leads since before the movie came out (thanks to a now-unrecognizable Hill in "Accepted" and Cera's role of George-Michael Bluth in Arrested Development) but the movie just didn't work for me.  Never felt the need to revisit it, either.
