L.A. Noire on PS3. The best game since Red Dead Redemption!
I started playing LA Noire, but I ended up getting sidetracked with playing Batman Arkham Asylum again. So I definitely need to get back and finish Noire.
-
I'm planning to buy Batman AA again since Batman Arkham City will soon be available.

Deus Ex - Human revolution
Battlefield Bad Company 2 <---- probably for the rest of my life actually
You Don't know Jack.... continually
Recently went back to Gears of War 1 and 2 to go through on Insane.
-
Having just finished Gears Of War 2, I'm going to run through a laundry's list of Demo before going back and playing GoW2 on **** Mode.
Demo's to play:
Fight Night Champion
WWE All Stars
Driver SF
Call Of Duty: Black Ops <----Umaine loooooooooves this game!! ;D
CSI: Fatal Conspiracy
Battle: Los Angeles
Full House Poker
Galaga Legions DX
I can't download NHL 12 or Space Marine until I upgrade back to Gold Member status. I'll grab those tomorrow. As for the demo's I'm gonna try out, I'm not necessarily looking to buy those. Just want to see what's new.
-
I'm bouncing between Gears Of War 2 and Gears Of War 3 Horde online to make the most of the free Gold Membership for 2 days.
-
Gears Of War 3: Single Campaign Mode
-
Downloading Battlefield 3 Beta for the PC, which I will play in a little bit. Although I'm not a PC Gamer, I do want to see what it looks like on my system. But I still have plenty of stuff to unlock in Gears Of War 3, so I will have my plate full.
-
Today it's Batman: Arkham Asylum day. I will be playing this right on up till the UPS guy drops off Batman: Arkham City at my front door sometime tomorrow morning/afternoon.
-
Mass Effect 2
-
So with the new iPad, games galore for it. I like games, but can't imagine playing any great amount of time on it.
I ran across this game Contre Jour...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Txy2a7keZCw
I have a love hate relationship with puzzles. I can get easily frustrated, but at the same time feel a need to complete it. I've been playing Angry Birds and while I get through the puzzles when I can, I can easily give it up as well.
So debating whether to put $3 towards it. It does look fun.
-
The first game I downloaded for free is Paper Toss. Goofy fun to waste away the time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-91mhMjkeg
-
Dude, just go for it. Trust me, when your stuck somewhere waiting in line or on a person to arrive, this is a great way to kill time.
-
Dragon's Lair
-
Space Ace
-
I played Hexic HD for a couple of hours. It's addictive. Every time I would end a game, I'd say that was the last one and yet.............
-
Fight Night Champion
-
It's a free Gold Membership weekend on Xbox Live right now. So, I'm jumping from game to game to wet my beak again. Main games online right now for me is Gears Of War 3 and Fight Night: Champion
-
I just got a Xbox 360 today for Christmas! I was playing madden 13 Xbox 360
-
Congrats! Now you can hand over your Wii U since you won't be playing that anymore!
-
I never had a wii u but the xbox is really fun!
-
Beside Madden 13, what other games did you get?
-
UM... Angry Birds Trilogy, NCAA Football 13, Kinect Adventures, Kinect Star Wars, Plants vs. Zombies, Harry Potter for Kinect, and Lego Lord of the Rings. Those are the starting games I got for it. ALL on one day!
-
The Walking Dead: Telltale Games (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/video-games/the-walking-dead-(telltale-games)/msg6716/#msg6716)

Have any of you guys played Peggle by PopCap? It is really addicting after a while.
-
Hitman: Absolution
-
Gears Of War: Judgement
-
Tomb Raider

Currently playing SSX which I got dirt cheap on eBay. Plays great and it's certainly better than the demo I played at Comic Con....2 years ago. I also have Rocksmith, Assassins Creed 3 and Crysis 2 coming as well. Scored some great deals on eBay over the last few days. Can't wait till the other games arrive.
-
Assassin's Creed III
-
Rocksmith
Just played it to check it out. Gotta finish Assassin's Creed III though, so I will be resuming that later tonight. Plus, it will give my left forearm some time to rest. It's already fatigue from playing on hours worth of Rocksmith.
-
Catching up on the Rev3 coverage of PAX (and I gotta say I'm enjoying it more than any G4 coverage of this kind of thing, less "excitable" but still plenty of content) and I gotta say... I wanna try out that Oculus Rift. Wow. One of the dudes at the company mentioned that someone had made an N64 emulator with head-tracking for the camera, I would LOVE to play a VR version of Super Mario 64.
And those indie games look pretty awesome, they definitely interest me way more than the 60 dollar franchise properties.
-
The Oculus Rift is something I am veeeeeeeery interested in. FYI, G4 sucks. Well, in its final year it certainly did. I would like to see Morgan Webb find her way over to Rev3, but I haven't heard anything about her since they closed the doors on G4.
-
Yeah, I remember G4 being pretty crummy, I'm an old school TechTV head, heck, I watched ZDNet back in the day.
Would like to see Morgan back in the game but she's probably found something new to do.
-
GTA V
-
Gears Of War 3
Bailed on GTA Online because it's BEYOND frustrating! Everything about it is broken. I tried leveling up some more, only to lose it all once I closed out of the game. Not going to bother with it until it's fixed. Figure that I might as well make my free Gold Weekend count by playing some Gears instead.
-
Rocksmith 2014
-
BandFuse (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/video-games/bandfuse-rock-legends/msg23937/#msg23937)
Well, can't really say I'm "playing it" at the moment. But the disc is in the console...........
Ugh.

Fight Night Champion

SSX

Batman Arkham Origins

BioShock Infinite

SXPD - Ios game app
you guys might like to check this out. The graphics are amazing, cause it looks like it was ripped right out of the comics and the game play... well, I dunno... I just started. It's not easy, that's for sure

I don't own anything that runs IOS, but if I did, this would be something that I would definitely have around to play. Nice find.
-
I think it works on android too
-
I don't have android either, unless you're talking about Robots, because I do have lots of those as they do my bidding.
-
I don't have robots, but I do have fembots

Aaron Paul Is Turning On People’s Xboxes Without Their Permission
Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul stars in a new advert for Microsoft’s Xbox One, but there’s a slight problem. (http://www.buzzfeed.com/richardhjames/aaron-paul-is-turning-on-peoples-xboxes-without-their-permis)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEoZbXB78NI
When Paul says “Xbox On” at the beginning of the ad it is causing people’s consoles to boot up using the Kinect voice sensor.
-
In the immortal words of Mac, that is so last week (http://pennycan.createaforum.com/tv's-greatest-hits-and-misses/breaking-bad-(season-5-second-half-2013)/msg28851/#msg28851)! ;D

GTA V Online
I'm until 4 days ago, I hadn't played GTA V in quite some time. Actually would just watch certain gamers playing it, which afforded me the luxury of getting other stuff done at the same time. Well, that all changed once I redeemed a Free Gold Membership card, good for 1 month. So, as you can guessed, I have been trying to make it count and get as much GTA V Online gaming done as possible. There is a ton of sh*t that I need to complete and I'm nowhere close to getting there. Been having a blast playing it and it has given the game a shot in the arm. With that said, I don't want to play an entire month of just this game. Gonna work in Gears of War 3, Fight Night Championship, Red Dead Redemption and any other games I find in my drawer.

Rocksmith 2014

Madden 25 (Anniversary Edition)
So, it's Superbowl Sunday today and decided to bust out Madden and do a 'Pre-Game' Simulation, playing as the Seahawks against the Patriots. Final score had the Seahawks winning 52-31. Let's see what the real game brings later on today.
-
Hitman: Absolution
Well, I never finished this the first time around which I got a couple of years ago. I think I got maybe halfway through it before moving onto something. Decided to dust this one off and start from the beginning because I wanted to see what the game looked like on my 50 Inch Vizio. It looks AMAZING. It's like a completely different game. I spent maybe an hour just playing it. With that said, I don't know if I will stick with it. The game really drives home the stealth aspect of getting through each level and because I'm coming straight from GTA V, playing Absolution is just waaaaaaay to slow for me. It's boring as f*ck at times. I dunno, we shall see if I continue onward. I just love the over the top kinetic energy and mayhem that GTA V provides. Absolution is the exact opposite.
-
While waiting for my GTA V replacement disc, I decided to throw in Fight Night Championship into the console. Instead of choosing your typical fighters like Tyson or Ali. I decided to fight Ron Swanson. Yes, THAT Ron Swanson. ;D
-
Son, fighting a cartoon is not fighting a real man. If you want to fight a real man, meat me at Mulligan's Steakhouse.
-
As a Gold Member on Xbox 360, each month we get two free games to download. This month, well a few days ago, they offered up Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Grabbed it last night and played some. Played a bit more tonight. It looks great. The detail for the scenery is amazing. This is a AAA Title and one that I had intended on buying on disc last year. I never did. Kinda cool to be getting a game that cost $60 new, $30 used....for free. It took awhile to download off the Xbox Servers as the file size is a whopping 7.5 gb.
-
Game of Thrones: Episode 1
This was a free download for Xbox 360 Gold Members. It's by Tell Tale Games, the same folks that brought us The Walking Dead game.

Just finished all of Monument Valley... all three things of it : the main game, the appendices, and Ida's Dream. Just wonderful, something I'd been intending to play for a long time and it totally lived up to the hype. I've always loved Escher so the idea of a game where you get to explore that kind of world is very appealing to me. And the gameplay evolves very naturally and very interestingly.
And I had no idea I would connect so much to a little white cone or a little yellow column.
-
What console is this on? Never heard of it.
-
It's on iPad... and I think other mobile platforms, it's been a big success so I think they ported it out, but I'm not sure.
-
No iPad for me, but I will check to see if there is a web browser version on PC.
-
More of a "looking forward to" because holy guac, look at this cast!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avEGqe4Crbo
Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd back together again... dudes...
-
Flying cars! You know how I am about flying cars!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TA2QXFwtD0
-
Looks like fun. I'd play it.
-
Fight Night Champion
-
Last week it was Gears of War 4 (Xbox One)
Today, starting Rise of the Tomb Raider (Xbox One)
-
GTA V (Xbox One)
-
I played a little bit of Grid 2 and then got bored with it pretty fast. Really not a racing car kinda guy. I like open world games where I get to choose what I want to do and when. Enter Red Dead Redemption. I've been wanting to revisit the game for a long time. The last time I actually played it from the start was when the game came out.....all the way back in 2010. Man, time sure does fly by.
-
I started playing Sleeping Dogs: The Definitive Edition last week, but I'm losing interest in the game, but not for the reason you think. On the surface, the game looks amazing, especially the Hong Kong sandbox we get to play in. The story...so far seems interesting too. So, what's wrong with the game? The Camera Controls is beyond wonky.....it's infuriating. I try looking one way and the camera goes in the complete opposite direction...just makes for a very unpleasant experience. It takes me completely out of the game every time. Not good.
-
Not playing, but dang I"m interesting in Sonic Mania... it's nostalgia done right, and everything I've seen in the levels looks amazing and interesting.
But what I really wanted to share was the opening animation. Wow! Looks more like a cartoon than almost any cartoon I've seen in I don't know how long. Especially love the little bits like Knuckles hanging on to the spinning ring.

-
Just started playing Trials Fusion for the first time. This is "simple"....but challenging if that makes sense. It's definitely fun.
-
Been playing Forza 5, which is good. I prefer the arcade style racing games in GTA instead. Also playing Oxenfree which is f*cking awesome. I'll post my gameplay for that one soon.
-
Still playing Forza 5 and starting to really like the handling of the cars. Also just started up Life Is Strange and it's everything I want out of a mystery story line. Loving it.
-
We got a bunch of SNES Minis at work today so I bit the bullet and I bought one, I didn't get much of a discount though.
Now, I never had the SNES growing up, I went from the old NES and GameBoy combo to the N64 when I moved back to the states. My friends had some, and I know I have SOME experience with some of the games.
The device is pretty cute, though the door hinge to get the controllers in is a bit tricky. I do like that it's USB-C powered, meaning you could run this off a battery, I suppose. Would be great for taking in the car for a trip. I can easily imagine modders adding a screen to this and making it a portable unit. In fact, I'm surprised I haven't heard of that being made back.
I was thinking I would record an unboxing video fro that as a test, but there are a ton of unboxing videos for these and I really didn't want to set up a camera thing right now. Plus I don't have any way to capture the footage so I couldn't really do a follow-up on them.
The controllers take a little more getting used to, I went three levels into Super Mario World and I was sill trying to figure out what each button did... I guess I'm not wired like that yet.
-
Unboxing!!!!!!! Do it!
-
Playing Life is Strange and Tales from the Borderlands.
-
Well, it's already out of the box. But I did put it back into the box. I had some musings about the differences between the NES and SNES in terms of animation but it feels like it would be.. a bit rehearsed.
-
Star Wars Battlefront II
-
Every month, Xbox offers free game downloads and today it was Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition. So yeah, that's what I'm playing right now.
-
The Telltale Game?
-
Yup.
-
Great scott.
-
Great scott.
Well placed quote.
-
As of last night, I've been playing The Turing Test. I had no idea what this game was suppose to be. With "Gun" in hand, I just assumed it was another First-Person Shooter. Nope, it's a puzzle solving game and I love. Some really challenging stuff to work out. This isn't easy by any means.
-
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
(still playing RDR2 as well), but starting SOTTR.
-
Never Alone
-
Revisiting Gears of War 4 after 2 years of not playing it. (Mainly Horde Mode 3.0)
Also alternating between Gears, RDR2 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
-
Just recently finished Episode 2: Out of Time for Life Is Strange. Now currently playing Ryse: Son of Rome.
-
Gears 5
-
Just wrapped up My Friend Pedro and Gears of War Ultimate Edition and Gears of War 2. Still need to post the videos for those.
Up next will most likely be Gears of War 3
-
Playing Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
