The most mind blowing part of Man On Wire is not the thing you think it is. Of course you suspect that it would be Philippe Petit dancing on a wire suspended across the World Trade Center Towers. No, that's the second mind blower. The first is in that Philippe and his group had the foresight to film the planning of this "heist" that would culminate with them sneaking into the Towers and then setting up the wire to pull off this "impossible" challenge. It's all here and it's pretty amazing to see.

Now, for the crown jewel in the film: Walking a wire that high up above the ground in New York City, just makes my stomach turn. Just thinking about how high he was and the fact that he was battling wind gust that could easily send him flying off and plummeting to his death is not something I can comprehend,

Highly recommend this as a Rent for sure.

Even though they have a safety backup with their harness, it doesn't take away from how impressive this is with their ability to add some 'moves' to their arsenal.
