Minka Kelly is the ONLY reason why I'm even giving this a chance. We shall see how it plays out. The show will premiere on Thursday, September 22, 2011, the 35th anniversary of the debut of the original show.

This was actually way better than I thought it would be. With Drew Barrymore as the Executive Producer, I was under the impression that it was going to be a lot like the movies.....campy. Well, it's not. It's a straight up action show. I was impressed, even if the story itself was a bit predictable. The episode baddie was played by Carlos Bernard, who I haven't seen in anything since 24 went off the air. The voice of Charlie is played by Victor Garber (Alias). And then there's the sole reason why I am even watching this....Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood). So hot. I don't think the series will last long, not because it sucks, but because it's going up against a lot of other shows on Thursday night. I'd like to see it stick around for awhile. If the show is on the verge of being cancelled, the producers will no doubt play the Drew Barrymore card and make her appear in an episode. No matter what show Isaiah Mustafa pops up on, be it Chuck or here as Detective Ray Goodson. He will ALWAYS be THE Old Spice Guy. He's got some serious typecasting to deal with. Anyway, this episode was really light on the action. Not a whole lot to be found anywhere. Bah!! But the girls sure do look nice.  ;D

This episode was dope. Pun intended. D.B. Woodside makes a far more convincing Drug Lord than he ever did as President on 24. Minka Kelly with a shovel is....hawt! The ending of the episode was a little too sugary-sweet wrapping up the story.

I'm always nervous when you post in threads that you're not actively watching because the only time you do post is to tell me when such and such show gets cancelled. With the Angels in a Cuban Prison, this was all about revealing some of Bosley's history with Samantha Masters (Erica Durance), a former CIA agent who got exiled from the agency because of him. Enemies are now working side by side to break the Angels out. We also learn of Elizabeth from his past and that he was responsible for her death years earlier. The big reveal at the end is that Elizabeth is Charlie's daughter. Overall, a pretty decent episode.

This one centers around foiling a kidnap/hostage situation with a long-thought-to-be-dead-father who faked his own suicide to avoid prosecution and is now being used to kidnap his own son. Pretty basic stuff here. But it's the little backstory involving one of the Angels, Abby, that's most interesting.

We get to meet her father, who is serving time in prison, played by John Terry, better known as Christian Shepard from LOST. At the end of the episode it's insinuated that he has a connection to Charlie, the benefactor of the Angels. Interesting. I'm guessing that John Terry's role on the show playing Victor Sampson will be a recurring one.

Ugh. So much for this one sticking around. I knew the serious tone of the show would be it's down fall. There is none of that 'wink wink' of the original series or the campy fun of the films. This version was straight ahead action. I liked it and it sucks this show is done. They will be airing the remaining 4 episodes to burn off what's left. I guess it's time to bring Minka Kelly back to Parenthood, which I have no problems with.

Pretty good episode about Bosely's identity being stolen by a former partner of his; Zoe "Oswald" Sinclair (Peyton List). But it's what happens in the final 2 minutes that made me p*ssed that this show got cancelled. They are (were) setting up something pretty big when Zoe goes to visit Abbey's father in prison to set up a partnership to unmasked Charlie's identity.

Sadly, I will never get to see this played out. Only 3 episodes left that will be aired.

It took me awhile to remember where I had seen Peyton List last time. It was on Flashforward.

Not one of their better episodes. It wasn't the story that sucked, which centered around an assassin targeting a kid who's got a chance to make it to the NBA, who also just happens to be heir apparent as the next King. It was the bad acting by the Prince and his girlfriend that had me rolling my eyes. There was also the case of the two "assassins" that stormed Bosley's house. The fighting and their "swat" gear was laughable.
