FOX hasn't (will not) upload episodes for this on Roku. So, I took that off my watch list a while back. May catch it on DVD when it comes out.

The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016)
3 Stars out of 5

Thank God that Kristen Stewart is nowhere to be found in The Huntsman: Winter's War. I can't stand her and was the biggest liability in Snow White and the Huntsman. I could probably rant on how much I loathed her for a good hour. But that's for another day. This is about The Huntsman: Winter's War. Really didn't know what to expect given the first flick, Initially my thought was "is this sequel really warranted". At least I thought it was a Sequel. And then it starts and it's a Prequel. And then it nears the end and suddenly it's a Sequel. Really wasn't expecting it to bounce back and forth like that. I knew the movie got bad reviews and it's why I waited so long to bother checking this out. Nothing else was, here we are. I actually thought it was a fun flick. Far from perfect....but not as bad as it's been made out to be. Most of the Special FX were done very well...with the exception of those "Gorilla Guards" or whatever they are called. They looked way to rubbery. Not good. As for everything was fun. Emily Blunt was good...if a bit limited in what she could do. Chris Hemsworth is his usual dependable self. Jessica Chastain was a nice addition. But it's Charlize Theron that owns whatever scene she is in. You can't take your eyes off of her. Worth a Rent.

I recognize her only as a model. Can't remember her in any TV or Films. Well, maybe I've seen her elsewhere but I never made the connection between the two.

Alien: Covenant
3 Stars out of 5

For the first time, in a long time, I'm actually quite confused about whether or not I liked a movie and that is the case with Alien: Covenant. As with all Alien flicks, the setup takes way too long and is damn slow. Expected that. And then it starts to pick up and gain some steam and goes off the rails because it felt like Ridley Scott was shoehorning to much stuff into the flick for the masses to make up for Prometheus, which I never had a problem with. I actually liked it. Anyway, in Alien: Covenant, it just felt like random stuff was being thrown against the wall in an effort to please those naysayers. Furthermore, it felt too reminiscent of what has already been done with regards to plot and characters and setups and "payoffs". The whole David Vs. Walter plot just seemed way too convenient for what transpires. I just don't know how I feel about this movie. Maybe with some needed time away from this viewing, I can revisit the flick and see how it plays the second time around. I think I just wanted it to be more along the lines of what we got in Prometheus instead of what we have already seen in Alien 1-4. But then again, I guess that's what most people want. Anyway, flick does look fantastic and the sets are awesome. Definitely worth a Rent. Biggest WTF moment of course is James Franco, who I had no idea was in this.

Sammy Hagar (The Circle) - Finish What You Started, Heavy Metal, Mas Tequila - Red Rocks - 9-5-2016

The vid is a year old....but it's still awesome. They sound so f*cking good here. Mike needs to do more lead vocals IMO. He's THAT good!

Foo Fighters - You Really Got Me (ft. Mick Murphy)

Normally something like this would go in the Foo Fighters Live thread...but with Mick Murphy front and center, it's appropriate to post in here.

Aftermath (2017)
2 Stars out of 5

I totally forgot that I had Aftermath on hold until I picked it up at the Library and didn't even remember that Arnold Schwarzenegger was in this. As soon as I did remember, what popped into my mind was "oh, it's that airplane disaster where he looks for the guy that caused it". And that right there is the entire movie. I remember when I first saw the Trailer saying to myself, how are they going to make this an entire movie? Needless to say, this in itself doesn't merit a feature length film. I'm giving the flick 2 Stars because it's long, boring and doesn't payoff. I knew it wouldn't given how they were setting it up. When you get to the "moment" it's building toward, there is no satisfaction for either the character or the moviegoer. It's a downer and the ending itself was just....odd in how it ends abruptly. With that said, the performances by Arnold and Scoot McNairy were good. But the movie really shouldn't exist. It's pointless. I'll never watch this again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Life Is Strange Gameplay Walkthrough Episode 1: Chrysalis Part 4 | The End

The final two parts of my gameplay for Life Is Strange. A lot shorter than I was expecting....but still a super fun game to play.
