I can honestly say I have no idea who Vic was. I don't even think I've heard of him in passing at all. I dunno.

Premieres September 22, 2011

This is pretty damn good news that it premieres in September and NOT as a mid-season replacement. No news on whether it's going to be for a full 22 episodes though. Even though it's critically acclaimed, it has struggled in the ratings in each of the first three seasons. So getting 22 episodes for Season 4 is a stretch. Maybe and hopefully the audience will finally find and embrace the show and that it will force NBC to order the back nine. It's never a good sign when it went from 24 episodes in Season 2 down to 16 for Season 3.

Leslie Knope ftw!  ;D

FYI, I think it blows that Season 1 is all of 6 episodes. What the hell......

Episode 6: TS-19

This was the "weakest" episode of Season 1. This isn't bad at all, just that the entire episode takes place in the bunker if the CDC as we see what the virus is and how it transforms a human into a Walker. The process looked cool and is a different take on any other Zombie flicks I've seen....which isn't a whole lot to begin with. The other thing that made this one weaker is that there was no cliffhanger at all, other than escaping the annihilation of the CDC. Now I know for a fact that the series was picked up for Season 2 after episode 2 or 3, so the writers could have given us something to really hang onto till Season 2 got around. Oh well. The final thing that makes this the weakest of the bunch is hardly any Walkers, with the exception of the few the gang pops running out of the building.

Well, that's my take on the entire series. Was the hype warranted? Yep. Really a fantastic series in spite of a couple of hiccups. This is definitely a Buy for me.
