Episode 1

So far, the group of players here is way better than Season 1. But that's not saying much because there are a few players in Season 2 that are just absolutely horrible. Katya is a train wreck. So, she continually blows her guitar parts and tells us that she hasn't practiced in 5 years as her excuse. Um, what the hell were you doing when you knew you were going to be on the show? Sheesh. Embarrassing.

The 3 bands competing are:

The Ex Hang Up performing I Fought The Law

The Bad Kick performing Suffragette City

The Spaceball Ricochet performing Bang A Gong

All 3 of the bands performing their first song were horrible. But the worst was The Spaceball Ricochet. Mark Hudson ftw ripping into his band and telling them they sucked. Boy, did they ever.

I sure hope that the producers of the show learned the mistake of Season 1 and go with people a little more accomplished musically. Just because it's a camp full of amateur players doesn't mean they have to settle for tone deaf singers on the show. This seasons counselors are: Duff McKagen (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver), Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses, The Cult) and Mark Hudson (Mega-Producer/Song Writer). Hosted by Kimberly Caldwell.

Special guest this season will include Paul Stanley (KISS), Phil Collen (Def Leppard) and Sammy Hagar (Montrose, Van Halen and Chickenfoot) among others.

Yankees Set MLB Record With 3 Slams In One Game

Look, I hate the Yankees just as much as the next guy. And trust me, I hate them with a passion. But I gotta give it up for Robinson Cano, Curtis Granderson and Russell Martin for pulling off the ultimate hat trick. Wow.

PS
I still hate the Yankees;D

Mallrats: Collector's Edition (1995)

Trailer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eVo7aBze1w

The best thing going for Mallrats is Jason Lee as Brodie. Whenever he is on the screen, he steals it. If it weren't for him, the movie itself would be a total wash. But somehow he is able to elevate the movie with his views about everything from sex, love, comic books and escalators. The best part of he movie is definitely the game show at the end where he takes center stage as he comes up with some of the best answers and stories any contestant has ever uttered on live TV.  ;D  The downside of the movie is definitely Jay and Silent Bob. Where they were charming in Clerks, here they were annoying and playing caricatures of themselves, which fell flat.

Even though I own the movie, I can't say I'd recommend it as a Buy. But it's definitely worth a Rent though.

As do I. How about some DVD reviews for us?

Wow. I had no idea that he was an accomplished artist. I'm talking about pretty impressive stuff. Too bad he felt the need to hide artistic abilities from the public. Better late than never.

How can you post anything from The Killer and nothing from Hard Boiled? Come on dude, you're slipping!! FYI, both The Killer and Hard Boiled are definitely John Woo's and Chow Yun Fat's best. But then again, I think A Better Tomorrow II ranks right up there as well.
