Superhero Misfits

This was funny, predictable and then surprising all rolled into one. Nathan for the humor. Father for the killer. Bruno (Richard Riddell) for the Gorilla. When I saw Bruno scaling the side of the building with Kelly on his back in a nod to King Kong, I thought it to be funny. What I didn't see coming...

It's weird seeing Alisha pining after Simon now, knowing what her future is with him. Now she is super akward around him, which is a 180 degree turn from her more "flirty" self.

My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands (2005)

My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands. Based on the title of the book, you would think it was a very salacious read. It's a little misleading. We are led to believe that it's about all of Chelsea Handler's successful one-night stands: Doing the "deed". But the fact is, it's more about her wanting to get laid, going out looking for a man and heading back to his or her place with the intention of getting laid. But it usually ends in some crazy, far out scenario that usually has her **** blocking herself either by her own means or the dude she is with is just weird, crazy and everything in between. You could basically say this book is Penthouse Pet Letters gone horribly wrong.

This is all great stuff and makes for an extremely entertaining read. She paints a picture rather well, which is a testament to her writing skills. The stories are so out there, that at times I have to question it's legitimacy. Whether they are real or not, it doesn't matter. It's extremely funny. After reading this book, it's clear that she is definitely "one of the guys".

Chelsea is a master liar and can tell whoppers at the drop of a hat to snare her man or just embarrass who she is with. The best incident was when she and her friend Nathan went to his high school reunion where she played his girlfriend/wife so that people wouldn't know he was gay and she would be able to find herself a lay there, if not a relationship with someone at the party. But it was the escalating lies they were telling, trying to one up each other that had me howling.

This is one that I can see myself reading again. A definite Buy for me.

Amy Winehouse Toxicology Report Shocker: “No Illegal Drugs In Her System” (Allegedly)

I was pretty certain that she had inhaled, drank and consumed every known drug and booze out there, that led to her demise. Shocking indeed. Say what you want about her personal life, she could sing. I mean, reaaaaaally sing and it's a shame to see such a promising career go to waste like this.

Duuuude, but all the big name stars that know music are going to be there. Bieber, Perry, Gaga. You wouldn't want to miss that now would you.

Yes. Yes I would.

You know. Gaga doesn't need all that sh*t that she is bringing with the costume changes. She can actually write good songs and can sing. It's the whole image thing as the "selling point" that makes me not take her serious as an artist. Madonna did it first and was a trend setter. Gaga is coming off as a pale imitation.

Once Bieber shaves his head, I might listen to a song of his all the way through.

Oh, P!nk ftw! This is HER thread, damn it! And she must be the last thing I post here.  ;D

T2 3-D: Battle Across Time (1996)

It's nice to have this to post and watch. But there is NOTHING that can replace the thrill of watching this live in the theater with all the 3D and Special FX they throw at you. They first released this in Florida before it opened in California. Yes, I went all the way to Florida just to attend this thrill ride. Suck on that b*tches! That's dedication...or a complete nerd on my part.  ;D

Yea, it’s pretty much eye candy with lack of any kind of engaging story. I’m not able to see it with a good sound system, but I can imagine it would sound pretty damn impressive. I’ll probably watch it whenever it comes on, but I’m not one to buy this.

It sounds AMAZING! And on top of that you get Daft Punk scoring the film, which was really the one thing that locked me into the moment during the chase and fight scenes. I'm just flabbergasted that with the music, special FX (minus Clu) and sound FX as part of the pie, that they forgot to write a good story to go along with it.

I guess enough people complained about the shady move Hulu pulled on those that were watching both shows to suddenly have them yanked out from underneath them that they decided to unlock the episodes. It's 2 week late. But better late than never is what I say.  :)

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
