I know right?

like I said, I am totally going to do it...I might even go for the 2 year...it's even $4 cheaper than the 1 year....so it's like you pay for 3.5 mags...and get another 21 for free.

daddy like free.

:)

hahahaha

I am doing a total about face today...listening to KISS on vinyl...felt like a little Hotter than Hell...and it was JUST what the doctor ordered...sometimes youtube can get on my nerves and getting offline completely to listen to music I find much more conducive to a relaxing day working...rather than a lot of looking up to see stuff.....

GFTPM, was a cool magazine no doubt....they really covered it all as best as any mainstream guitar magazine could ever do.

I loved it and had a subscription for at least 3-4 years...and I bought quite a few right off the shelves....maybe even 6 years I had a subscription.

nothing better than coming home and seeing that in the mail.....I miss those days.

although I am going to subscribe to Guitar World any time now...it's basically $15 for a year and $24 for 2....you basically get 10 magazines a year for free since the cover price is $7.99

I think totally worth it.

oh my god...that video and song are awful.  I was never into the Mcauley Schenker Group.

yikes.....man I was talking Michael Schenker Group....that sounds like a cross between Great White and Twisted Sister.

since when has being a rock guitar god and being healthy looking been synonymous?

it's a stick thin build with the guitar consuming your body...you eat rock and roll.  not pizza.

:)

Ace Frehley in his prime, Jimmy Page in his prime....these weren't chubby dudes who people idolized....we wanted our legends of rock lean and thin...there's a saying that I actually do think has more deeper meaning than what's a face value.

'young and hungry' or 'hungry and driven'....your body size also relates to that....fat and satisfied....think about it.

:)

ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ah that's funny you thought he (Michael Schenker)  looked sickly...I thought he still looked like a young hungry rock star....not some fat bloated old dude who used to rock.

:)

thin to win!

awesome episode I am right there with you...I could watch a season with 25 episodes when it's this good...I know it's not always that easy to get good guests....but I thought from front to back this one was a lot of fun to watch....the top 5 probably should have been focused on Bruce albums.....the two early ones with Paul Included almost cut it off at the knees...but it's impossible almost to be a Maiden fan and NOT include those in the top 5...because they are that good....

Michael Schenker I thought was very tasty as the guest guitarist...and he didn't even have a PUNCHING bag!!  He looks **** great too...the guy has got to be 63 and he practically looks like a 16 year old playing the guitar...it's crazy....he gave Trunk that guitar which was a really nice little moment.....

Adrian was an awesome guest....and yeah man...just a solid solid episode...and I would actually watch this one again.....seasons back there were way more episodes I felt that way about. (many I'd watch 2 times back to back...because for whatever reason VH-1 classic runs the show from 10-11 and then again from 11-12)..the last 2 seasons not so many of the shows I'd ever watch again....)..but this I'd peep a few more times for sure.

it even inspired me to have a Michale Schenker day today!!  so it's coffee and then some MSG or UFO.

:)

I give it 5 stars...and 1 boner.  miss box of trunk looked extra hot in that tank top

hahahaha I have NO idea if you are serious...I am guessing it's a joke.

George would win best worst fake tan....how many years is he going to keep that ridiculous look??

Jeff the bass player seems nice...but he's also kind of annoying....

hahahaha

they are clowns....all the past "the record label made us do it" fell short , and they still show now they are dumb asses.....I have a tiny bit more respect for Don, although I am sure the guy is a prima donna pain in the ass.  I get the feeling they don't think anything through. and it comes back to bite them on the ass again and again.

they are pretty boys that had some talent...and got some luck in a time when labels would sign anyone with a little talent, and more look....but their time is well past...and for TMS I want more and better...they could have squeezed 3 bands in for that episode...done Ratt, Warrant, and Dokken.....I would have been just as interested and glad at the end it was over.

:)

on to bigger and better things...or guests...

I have very little respect for that band.

I mean they make it very easy to be critical of them.

they seem to lie, and basically are quick to blame others for their own flaws.

George should stick to tanning.

He's actually just like another famous George.  George Hamilton who's also know for one main thing.  A ridiculous tan.

pass...I won't go back to watch the last half of this one....unless they update it with another band.

who cares about the Rock and Roll hall of fame...and I don't mean that in an Eddie Trunk kind of way...but Axl being pushed any direction to reunite with G N R on anything but his own terms is totally out of character for him.

someone be it a record label or something like an institution "honoring" your past accomplishments is clearly not what W. Axl Rose got into Rock and Roll for.

He got in to Rock and Roll to tell organized society F*U*C*K YOU.

and he's stuck with that mindset...and if you burn him or tell him different...you immediately fall into the **** off category in his mind...and he rarely back pedals..

and so he did say another big **** You...to not only the people in G n R and their old label...but to any outside pressure to go back to a relationship he clearly has no interest in re-visiting.

if he wasn't this guy today...he probably never would have been the man we all admired 25 years back/

I think he just really is exactly what he originally presented himself as.

He's a TRUE Rock and Roll rebel....you tell him to go right, he'll go left./

The first record wasn't called Appetite for Destruction for nothing.

and lets see...Slash's solo album was called.....oh yeah Slash.

he digs deep.

Chinese Democracy meaning...One.

I mean look you can't change a tiger's stripes kid.

you have to respect Axl is the real deal....past all his contemporaries...he's stayed true to himself.
