looks cool.

Bootlegs can be very hit and miss...but if it's a band you love...sometimes just the audio is worth it.

sometimes the camera is a single shot way back...obviously now with all the hand helds....you can get way better footage than back in the "old days"

wow very cool clip.

I miss record stores like that...there was a warmth to it (kind of like Vinyl) that these Best Buys and Fry's lack.

Chip you wanna get goosebumps...at 55 seconds in that is the EXACT spot where I stood holding both the first KISS album and I believe Dressed to Kill going back and forth in my kid brain trying to decide which to get....it was probably 1977....and I had a friend who's now is actually not alive...my friends older sister (she passed away about 10 months back)....she was there...and I was like " I don't know which one to get!!" she said "well which one do you like better?"

and I grabbed the first KISS record and was in KID HEAVEN for the next several years!

hahahahaha is that what they put there?

I was just down there literally a few days ago...and I never even look anymore...I sort of let the past be the past and I just remember the kick-assness of it all

I really liked Tower Video too...I'll never forget the first time I saw a laser disc...I thought it was a record...because the size was exactly the same.

oh wow cool.

I totally remember their last days...I was down there a few times when it was all closing down....everyone in town that grew up with that place was bummed it was leaving...and once it's gone for several years it was impossible to drive past there without saying "man it sucks tower is gone"

did Steve technically have Nikki Sixx hair before Nikki Sixx?

I think so.

put that in the review....the most famous rock hair do...was stolen from Steve Stevens!

nice Rod Stewart will always remind me of living with my dad after my parents got divorced I was in about.....4th grade and he had a TON of albums...but he was a big Rod Stewart fan and his voice was just amazing.  I remember the covers too with Rod always looking so aristocratic and like....some shaggy haired, country club, bad boy./  Maybe an unruly rich kid rebelling against his wealthy and far more stuffy straight laced parents.

:)

I recently got heavily into the EARLY Jeff Beck Rod Stewart stuff BIG time... if you haven't heard that it's really cool...I mean at that point their band was basically Led Zeppelin version 2 (or 1 how ever you want to see it) ...I mean in 1968-69 the path the two bands were on was IDENTICAL and Plant and Stewart had in some ways interchangeable voices as crazy as that might sound.

but it's true.

they did a lot of the same songs too....people always accuse Zeppelin of being thieves...but ALL bands did tons of covers or variations of standards, and many got recorded and presented without giving credit to the original artists...that just was a given....Zeppelin because of how popular they got....get's a black eye for it more than most though

:)
