Sharknado was a glorious guilty pleasure hit. The internet is pretty much a buzz about it.

It pretty much did things badly in the right way. The acting was gawd awful. The logic of the events that took place was non-existent, the special effects horrendous and the editing was pure crap.

Mix that all up and you have the epitome of pure cheesiness that you can grin at. It truly was unbelievable viewing experience. I would have loved to been around when decisions were made. What I’m thinking is some writers had some key milestones that were in a vacuum and they were then instructed to connect the dots with filler plot to get from Point A to Point B.

For instance, the hero of the story needs to get to his old house, now his ex-wife’s (Tara Reid) house, for higher ground because the streets of LA are flooding… with sharks. So the group in the jeep get to the house on the high hill, suddenly the sewer in front of the house explodes with water jetting out…. Filled with sharks. So they go into the house to be safe… right? Wrong. Apparently the water level for some reason flooded the front of the house and allow sharks to come in through the front window and flood the living room. Now the group has to fight off sharks in the living room. After a little chomping, they need to get out of the house. So they get their chance and go out the front door to their jeep where apparently water level by all miracles, disappears.

This kind of plot happens through the whole movie. It’s great.

See movie making at it’s worse. It makes Ed Wood look like a genius.
