??? does it blow?

I'm on the border. I haven't seen it yet, but since it does follow Walking Dead, I was looking to give it a chance despite it being a Western. Hell, I even actually liked Deadwood.

It looks great, but the characters are boring.

Men In Black III

Wow, does this look like an exact duplicate of I & II (ok, not so much II... because it was a real turd). If you like paying for stuff you've seen before, good for you. And if the trailer gives off that vibe, I imagine the movie will just be 100% more of deja vu.

I'll be skipping this repetition.

I enjoyed MiB, but I have yet to even bother with MiB II because of what you just described about MiB III.

The Hunger Games

This has been getting a lot of attention with a slow build toward buzz. I just saw the trailer and the description of it looks spot on. The Running Man and Battle Royale.

I've seen Battle Royale and blow away at the concept. It was raw, different, and just amazing to watch.
This trailer looks so Hollywood and just looses the great impact of the concept.

Iron Sky

Space Nazis attack from the Dark Side of The Moon

This is one of those WTF movies. Like Sucker Punch or Sky Captain. The idea is so way out there... it's intriguing.

Lets hope it's a win like Sky Captain and not a fail like Sucker Punch. I'm still p*ssed about the turn that is Sucker Punch.

A sci-fi sub plot. More of a drama.

It looks interesting, but it seems like Aubrey Plaza is playing the same character of April from Parks And Recreation. I would definitely still check out this movie though.

I tried watching Starship Troopers II or whatever it was called and I couldn't get past the first 10 minuites. It was horrible. Hopefully Invasion will be better. The Invasion trailer alone is better than what I sat through. So, is this direct-to-DVD? And where does this fall in line chronologically with the original American series? Or is this completely separate all together?

Tell me!

I WANT TO KNOW MORE!!!

The upcoming direct-to-dvd CG film set to be released in Summer 2012. It will be a direct sequel to Paul Verhoeven's Starship Troopers, ignoring the sequels Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation and Starship Troopers 3: Marauder.
