Looks cool... though when I read the book I kept thinking it should have been an animated movie, that way you could do the kids their proper ages, do the flying effects, the video game immersion thing, all that kinda stuff.  There hasn't really been a big sci-fi CGI movie, has there?  There's been little SF touches with Monsters Inc and Incredibles and Despicable Me, but they haven't really used that for a story like this, where it would kind of be perfectly suited.

Never read the series and will be going into this with no knowledge, other than the trailer and a few interviews and that's just the way I like it.

I wanted to check this out, but they had very strict rules that anyone lining up anytime before 30 minutes before showtime would be kicked out. How f*cked up is that sh*t? Ugh. So, I wasn't even going to bother trying.

I like that the video shows us the experience through the actor's ideas, I thought that was a nice touch.  Hugo got TALL, man.
