That trailer confirmed my fear of not messing with a classic. I cannot believe they made a huge effort to find a girl That looks like the original. Yea, right well give her brown hair. What is the point?

Then I thought, it appears everything is being copied shot for shot.

I so care less about this... Even with Raimi involved.

No idea. Haven't heard anything.....yet.

Anyway, everything you said is pretty much spot on with my reaction to this. And yes, I thought it was weird that they cast a girl that looks very much like Heather O'Rourke. For a second, I actually thought they had done some CGI sh*t to make her look like her.  In a nutshell, I don't like any of this at all.
