Arnold Reveals New Terminator Title - IGN News

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0Wq_FGxyqQ

The Terminator 5 thread is now officially Terminator Genisys and I hate it. It sounds like a fanboy came up with that. They should just do a f*cking crossover with Star Trek and get it out of the way. Ugh.

101 better titles for 'Terminator: Genisys'

Some good titles on the list and some not so good titles. I'm surprised there wasn't one called Hello Kitty: You're Terminated.

This title is getting slammed. I'm sure it will fade over time. Especially if it good.

I hope.

I only see about 50 ways this could go wrong.

First Look at Stars of ‘Terminator: Genisys’ Reveals Major Twist

Holy sh*t! Talk about blowing up what we already know about the mythology and just assumed the reboot would be. THIS is definitely taking a left turn and has me intrigued because now it will make perfect sense in Arnold Schwarzenegger's appearance in the movie. I suspect that they did all these revision just so that they could get an 'Old Terminator' into the movie and have it make sense and people wouldn't be able to whine about his age.

His casting was news to me as well. But it's not being met with positive acceptance by a lot of people posting on forums. An overwhelming majority are ripping him already just based on the cover. Knee-jerk reaction has taken on a new meaning apparently. Give him a chance before condemning the man.

It's weird because I thought people LOVED him.  He was the Doctor, arguably one of the most popular ones.  What happened?

It's because he was the Doctor that he is being ripped. Too much baggage going into the movie. People can't see him in anything but that role.

I'm getting the feeling the director doesn't know what the f*ck he wants to do with this installment. Having Arnie play "pops" to Sarah Conner is interesting. But the thought of them "de-aging" Arnie to look like his classic self from the original Terminator movie is leaving a sick feeling in my stomach. One of the major issues I had with Tron Legacy (besides the lame story) was "Young Jeff Bridges". It just looked horrible and something tells me that even though a few years have passed since then, the FX won't be any better of life-like now.

Everyone else might be dreading it, but you know what?  I'm interested.  Even if the movie is a spectacular disaster, I'm gonna see it, because I wanna see what the heck happens.

I think you can include all the naysayers in that conversation as well. Those that are protesting the loudest right now are the ones that will buy tickets for the first showing on Opening Day. I want nothing more than to have this ship steered on the right course and become what it once was.....relevant. But, I will be going into this with low expectations though. Still very curious to see how "Papa T" plays....good and / or bad.

‘Terminator: Genisys’ Storyboards Offer Glimpse of Big Battle

Not sure what anyone is gonna be able to get from these storyboards. But there are here if you wanna check them out. They are a bit unclear. Does it take place in the future with all those Terminators? Or do we have a bunch of Terminators coming to present day?

I'm betting it's the future because of the red-laser force field and the HKs in the air.
