I'm all for this. We get another film from Peter Jackson and Weta. Can't lose. But is there really enough source material to get 3 films out of? My concern is that they start padding unnecessary stuff in each film to lengthen them.

New title for second Hobbit film

The third is now 'The Hobbit: There and Back Again', which was previously the title of the second instalment. Confusing isn't it?

They should shorten up the title with a little throwback to the 80's. I'd go with The Hobbit: Part Deux.
