If Spielberg is name dropping Chris Pratt as Indy, then you can pretty much pencil this in as a done deal. Might I suggest Aubrey Plaza as Marion Ravenwood.  ;D

Looks like it's moving forward and not in the way most people assumed it would be going. As long as George Lucas stays completely clear of this project, it's not going to be good. Spielberg doesn't want his involvement. He wants to do it on his own and that is a big plus in my book. But knowing how George operates, he will no doubt shoehorn his way into this, derail it stupid script notes and ruin it somehow, all in spite of having sold the property to Disney.

I agree with you that the original Trilogy is all we needed. But I can surmise that the 5th installment is to make up for the atrocious 4th installment. They want to go out on a high and not let Kingdom of the Crystal Skull be the last thing they did with this character.
