Tarantino Might Make a Star Trek Movie - IGN News

I'm just posting this because I want to hear what Neumatic thinks of QT doing a Star Trek flick.

First of all, "might." Second, he mentioned what he would do for a Star Trek movie years ago.  I think it sounds pretty cool.

What I like about this idea is that Tarantino is pretty big on retro stuff, so I think if he makes this (I would LOVE for him to direct), it would feel more like the 80s Trek movies than we'd be able to get from just about anyone else.  Which would be cool.  I don't know what level of Trekkie he is, but he understands the character, the mood, and the type of story, and I think he could make that work for a modern audience.

Totally on board with this.
