Bob Dylan - All Along the Watchtower (Original Version)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swbcFnkeMwE

Overrated piece of sh*t song. Anyone that thinks otherwise can post here and plead their case, which is pointless because whoever thinks his stuff is good has lost his credibility instantly the moment he opens his or her mouth...or types.

"Weird Al" Yankovic - Bob

Even "Weird" Al makes a more convincing Bob Dylan. Hell, Al thinks Bob is a joke too. Why else would he poke fun at him?

Chip, don't be so hard on the Dylanmeister. Especially a classic like All Along The Watchtower.

Hell, I play that song all the time. It's a great bobcat deterrent. I just face my speakers out the window and play this particular Dylan song. The harmonica playing alone makes animals stay outside of hearing distance and you know how well bobcats can hear. Then Dylan's marble mouth singing is just icing on the cake.

Of course the downside is I have to wear earplugs. But hey... no bobcats.

Justin Bieber - Baby ft. Ludacris

THIS is better than anything Dylan has put out or will ever put out. Maybe if Dylan did something with his own hair, added some mousse to it, I'd like him more. Hell, even a moose would be 100% better at this point. FYI, I have yet to even listen to the above song or watch the video for the first time and yet I feel confident in saying it's better than the entire Dylan catalog.

I hear ya. I totally base my music listening preferences and purchases on looks... and Dylan is one ugly mofo. Maybe if he went all Heidi Montag on us and got several lots of cosmetic surgeries, his musical output would improve. It's a fact. Look at Britney Spears and Lady Gaga, uh never mind with gaga. Anyway, if he looked better maybe I wouldn't hurl so much when his song comes on.

I have actually broken a finger one time diving to turn the station. I heard the first notes of a harmonica and while trying to turn the station faster than my mind could handle, I slammed my hand into the console and broke my finger.

But it was worth it.  ;D

I'd actually pay to sit and listen to Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus talk about nail polish remover over seeing Dylan perform live cover versions of KISS songs.

Ouch.

Sorry to hear about your finger. I bet you can't guess which finger I'm holding up right now, directed at Bob Dylan.

Well that's just **** ridiculous... paying any of them to perform.

Let's not get all batshit crazy now.

The show Parenthood is HORRIBLE, and I blame the opening Title song/singer because of my hatred. If they would just replace the song and singer with something a little more mainstream and fitting like with Massive Attack, I'd watch the show. Till that happens, you will never catch me watching such a lame duck show with a lame duck singer.

Ugh.

I know. I know

I about freaked last night when Parenthood came on and the theme song by marble mouth started playing, my wife was suddenly singing along. WTF!!! Luckily I had my **** together, went upstairs to put my wife beater shirt on and then back handed my wife, right in the face. “You keep that crap up and I’ll put you back in the pit and play Abba music… loud… be-yatch”

I’ll watch the show but have the mute button right there in my hand.

Abba would make a fine choice to replace the opening song. Even Dancing Queen makes more sense at this point in what the show is about. Anything but what they currently play.

:::sigh:::

Jimmy Fallon Does Bob Dylan (The Tonight Show 11/17/11)

Jimmy is making fun of Dylan. I wonder why that is.

I'm thinking ol Dylan could benefit from Auto-tune ala a T-Pain project.

Like T-Pain would ever slum it and do a project with him.

Music News Alert
This just in.... Dylan in plans to do a duet's album. After watching artists like Elton John and Tony Bennett ride new careers with their music liberations, Dylan, feeling lonely, is jumping on the band wagon.

First out of the gate is a speed metal version of The Macarina with Rebecca Black (of her world wide hit Friday).

More news to come.
