They got #1 right with Crazy Train, which was one of the first riffs I ever learned on the guitar. With that said, I can't believe that AC/DC and Angus Young didn't make the list. Back in Black anyone? How about You Shook Me All Nite Long? I'm also shocked that Led Zeppelin didn't make the cut in the Hard Rock category for riffs.

Misa Digital Kitara Digital Guitar (Winter NAMM '12)

The gaming industry shifted from fake, button guitars to real guitars (enter Rocksmith / Bandfuse) and the Music Industry as shifted from real guitars to button guitars (enter Misa). Makes perfect sense to me.

I was pretty sure that I already posted that video in the thread. Guess not. Anyway, I always check in on this video every once in a while.

Taylor Sterling - Flight Of The Bumblebee (Worlds Fastest Guitar Player 2012 999 Beats Per Minute)

I had the goofiest smile watching this kid obliterate the speed record. If there was ever a video to wreck a guitar players confidence, THIS is it! Yikes!

eh

I didn't like it at his slowest speed....it sounded totally out of tune and it's a dissonant piece to begin with he was sounding very funky and not in a good way....but if you read further...it's also a hoax.

he's good though no doubt...I wouldn't have been able to play it even at his slowest speed by a long shot

here's a quote well two I totally agree with:

" playing the song in key would be a lot better"

and also:

" flight of the bumblebee was once played  by Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme. He doesn't play it anything like Nuno does. Nuno's version actually sounds good."

NSFW (language)

I just happened across this video. I'm impressed how laid back the kid is.
