On a "serious" note....(how can one actually be serious in a thread called 'Hottest Music Videos.." I think the idea behind the sharks is that Britney considers herself a shark, one that has to constantly stay in motion or she dies....which is true of sharks. The S&M is to goose sales and keep up with Miley in the 'sexing' department.
