Keyboard Gods: Past, Present and Future
« on: November 13, 2011, 07:55:24 am »
I'm not going to start off with an obvious choice here. Let's go in way-back machine to a unique group with some amazing hits. Here is one from left field. I've always admired Procol Harum with their infusion of rock and orchestra. But the drive is is Gary Brooker and his strong voice. And an excellent keyboardist.

Ha, throwing another curve at ya. Burton Cummings the voice and major talent behind The Guess Who could play the mean ass ivories.

One of my favorite classics.

Billy Powell (Lynyrd Skynyrd) (1952 2009)

I loved this man's honky tonk style of playing.

Perfect example... Call Me The Breeze

He's five!!!

He's already a genius at playing piano. He's cooler than any of us.

I rather enjoyed this playing in the background... let alone watching him.
