FYI, I've been looking to get me Destroyer: Resurrected on vinyl. Yes, I've held out long enough. I know I can get it for $25 from Amazon, but I'm gonna see if a better deal pops up on eBay in the next couple of weeks.

do it.

yeah I don't get Paul...he's made it to the top...and yeah you know.....the old career is winding down....but I am not sure why he has to go about pulling other people down.....and like arguing with fans on twitter...or saying the **** he does...I wonder what Gene's REAL take is on all this.

I am sure it boils down to Paul's voice is going...and there's nothing he can do to stop it...that will be the career ender...and all the sit ups and diet....wigs, and make up...aren't going to slow it down.

will be interesting to see where this all falls in 3-5 years...
but for now 2014 is going to be a bumpy ride...so fasten your seatbelts!

I don't see why KISS doesn't at least just take a breather for 6 months or so. It won't cure Paul's voice 100%, but it would do some good and then come back revitalized and hungry and go out guns blazing.

fast track for cash.

look people will always say KISS is a money grubbing machine...but this is not the time or year they can take a break...the pressure is on...you only hit 40 1 time...you only get inducted into the Hall one time..

Paul is busy and stressing...which only makes vocal issues worse...tension not only will constrict your voice...it can cause MORE damage to sing when tight like that

he's pretty screwed at the moment.

how many shows are they doing for this upcoming tour?

I would rather do half a years worth of shows during The 40th Ann. Tour and sound great as oppose to a full year of shows and sound like sh*t.

I didn't get the impression that they are doing some 100-150 shows...I could be wrong.

I didn't check the dates of the tour...but I think they are starting to come out and might be online.  (my guess is it's maybe 50-75 shows tops)

I wish Paul well...I'd love to see him "live to win" but I get the feeling that mantra is a little buried and now it.."f*ck you...I am going to take everyone down with me"

catchy title for the follow up

:)

it's an expensive production to take out...they can't have many "off days" for Paul to rest his voice......there's NO money coming in for the 100+ people they employee on "off days"...so they are going to have to play at least 4 nights a week/

it's ain't easy being the Starchild.

depends on Paul and what goes on here in the next month....yeah I'd like to...I'd prefer a Sports Arena show to the place down in Chula Vista...I ****ing hate that venue.

seriously...hate it

I am also not a fan of the far off Indian **** gigs these bands do......driving 50 minutes to an Indian **** is not really where I envision a great KISS show...I feel like I am see a lounge act.

we will see Chip...we will see.

dude seriously...this site blocks the word C@sino???

As I remember it, the KISS / Aerosmith show was the first (and possibly only) show they've done in San Diego that wasn't at the Sports Arena.
I doubt I would go and see them with the lineup they have right now. Now if you were to tell me that a HUGE BOMB dropped and Ace and Peter were back in the band, I would go see them no matter what venue they played at. The only way I would see the current line up live is if they removed the make up and did something in the vein of Revenge.

The guy that created the Forum Software purposely blocks lame words like that so that he can charge a fee to remove the censor option all together.

I'm still convinced that an All-Original with Bruce, Eric and Tommy will happen. Without makeup that is. That would generate a boatload of money given the unique lineup and a once-in-a-lifetime tour. There would be no way in hell I'd miss that. Yes, if if happened, it would be a limited tour, but with Eric most likely taking on the bulk of the drumming duties, it would benefit Peter and he could go longer on tour.
