Just picked up my copy of Rolling Stone at VONS this morning. Haven't had time to read anything yet. Hell, I haven't even opened it yet. With that said, it's cool that they are finally on the cover, but it kinda sucks in that it's on the "small" version of Rolling Stone Magazine. It would have been soooooooo much cooler if this had come out a few years ago on the oversize RS Mag, which literally set itself apart from its competition. Those were the good old days.

flipped through it quickly at VONS....there was enough text I thought it looked pretty damn solid as a read...cover price was only $4.99 so I grabbed 2.  Seems like a solid investment and something that I think will be worth at least $20 a few years from now.

I can't imagine the magazine even has that high a print run anymore sadly....so it's probably more scarce than things printed say in the 70's and 80's.

Holy sh*t!!!!! This is turning out to be a kick ass KISS day for me. First I get my Rolling Stone Magazine and the postman handed me my Sealed with a KISS hardcover book! Talk about warp speed delivery. It got here in 2 days flat from Florida. I was hoping I'd get it by Monday but figured it would be much later than that. So, yeah this book is HUGE! Seriously huge. I thought it was going to be a typical size book (the average size that is....small). This thing is the same size as KISSTORY. Not as thick....but still. WOW!!!  Man, I now have 3 KISS books and a Magazine to read....all about KISS. I gotta hurry up and finish the book I'm currently reading before I can tackle any of these other books/mags though. Ack! What a great problem to have!!!!!

NICE!!

I still need to order that one....I have such a limited budget I need to be careful though...the book can wait for me.  I want to get the Zeppelin Super Deluxe sets..which are $125-135 a piece...and a bunch of those new KISS LPs

way too much kick ass stuff coming out.....going to be an awesome 2014.

Now I'm on the lookout to buy the complete KISS Card Set Series 1 and 2 that got tossed out many, many years ago.

Is that something new or something that has been out there for a couple of years?

Paul Stanley of Kiss' 20 Best Onstage Quotes

Here's a great read that will keep you busy for a few minutes.

I wasn't sure with that to be honest.  I was just on e bay seeing how much the copies I bought went for...one sold for about $80...and I think one went for about $40.

$33 seems cheap...so I am guessing although the print run is 250 lower than the silver..it's not the first pressing and why it's selling cheaper (Silver is a 1000 print run but I think is the first "rare" version)...the marbled green and black swirl looks cool...I was almost tempted to grab one./  Print run on those is 750....which it looked like the blue and white...was about the same 750)

so is your face painted and you are listening to Beth reading/ and checking out Lydias book?

Not reading any of the KISS books until I finish current book that I've been reading for the past few weeks. Almost done. I did flip through some of Lydia's book to check out a few pictures. The book looks SLICK. High quality stuff. I'm very happy I got the book. First Print HC.

I am going to probably get the second printing for the extra photos (think there's a few hundred added photos...I had the stats at one point, it was pretty substantial if I remember correctly)..I remember when I read it, I was like f*ck it I'll get the second print for the extra photos......new they are $39 HC on her site...which is fine...I can pull the trigger any time this year...or add a watch on e bay...right now it's a lower priority for sure/

my focus right now is Zeppelin Super Deluxe box sets and the KISS Lps...Rush is releasing some really nice box sets too....music is my main interest...and gets a ton of replay value for me/

I'll definitely be getting the Second Printing for sure. I just couldn't pass up the chance to get the First Printing in fantastic condition. There is one seller on eBay that is trying to sell his for just under $200 bucks and it has a massive dent on the lower right corner of front cover and a huge rip on the back interior cover. Yeah, good luck selling it for that price. I wouldn't even pay 10 bucks for it.
