KISS Casablanca Singles 1974-1982 Vinyl Box Set

You know, as sweet as the KISSTERIA Set is, I actually would go for the Singles Set first. It's a little out of my price range at the moment. But it's something I'm keeping my eye on from here on out.

I haven't been getting notifications of new posts here.

I did order the single set.  $127 for it seemed like a fair price.

I just can't afford that anvil set....there's something about it that is really cool...not sure it's just that photo with everything lined up or just the idea of having that much merch

it sounds like it ships in at least 2 chunks...which means it will never be "sealed"

it's interesting because I think a decent amount of people will sell the cases, and maybe even the 6 "rare" LP's from that set

hard to tell...I don't personally need that anvil case....and $35 a record is lame.

I found a site online which averages $29 a record....but

 that's the best deal I've seen/

even then.

what records do you SKIP when buying the new re-releases?

thoughts?

I wouldn't skip any....even The Elder. I figure that if I'm going to cherry pick replacements, I might as well just get them all. But I can wait for the eventually huge price drop.

KISS (Rock And Roll Over) 1976

Click Me For Review ^^

It's been too long since I last listened to Rock and Roll Over. Felt like revisiting the very first KISS album that I bought with my own money. Damn, I forget just how f*cking good THIS album is. It kind of gets lost in the mix when you have KISS' Self-Title debut album, Destroyer, Love Gun and Creatures that get talked about among KISS fans when dissecting their albums. Rock and Roll Over holds up extremely well. Sooooooooooo, damn good!

When people think of THE Peter Criss song on RARO, everyone naturally goes to Hard Luck Women, and it's an amazing vocal performance. But lets not forget Baby Driver. Sh*t, I LOVE that song. He sounds fantastic and I love the arrangement of the song.

Paul Stanley of KISS Interview (CBS This Morning)

New interview that I just found. I think it's a couple of weeks old though.

I glanced over some rock news last night. The headline was something like Paul Stanley would still be Kiss, if he was the only one... if it came down to it.

I just remember the headline catching my attention... and the fact you guys talk about them so much.

I forgot to post this, but this past Friday night Paul Stanley was in town for his book signing. There was just no way I could make it. Sigh. Anyway, I just called the book store to see if they had any signed copies left for sale. They said they would hold 2 copies for me. Even though he obviously won't be there today, I feel like I'm waiting for a KISS show to start. It's actually the same feeling I've gotten for KISS shows. I guess I'm just excited to go and pick up my books. Gonna try to get down there in a couple of hours. Rocking song from Destroyer right now which I always do prior to going to a KISS show. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! ;D

KISS Icon Paul Stanley Faces The Music (CBS New York - The Couch)

Awesome interview that touches up on a lot of things. They allude to some stuff in the book, but the interview is pretty much spoiler free. Safe to watch. I'm glad they kept it spoiler free as I don't want to know anything about it. Don't even want to know what is talked about and who gets it the worst.

Top 10 KISS Songs

Not matter what the topic is, Top 10 list always fascinate me because I'm curious to see if the list will meet my expectations or fail miserably. In the case of this one, it's middle of the road. There are just way too many of my favorite KISS songs not even on the list and the ones that I agree with here are in the wrong place. It was interesting.....but waaaaaaaaaaaay off the mark. But Bruce Kulick has got to be happy he made it onto the list twice with Forever and God Gave Rock and Roll To You II. But where the f*ck is Tears are Falling? It didn't even get an honorable mention. What the f*ck! I can rip the list, but I won't.

For now.  ;D

KISS CLASSIC LOVE GUN REISSUED

I'd consider getting this on CD....but I would rather have it on Vinyl instead.
