One other thing, if it wasn't clear in last post, ALWAYS ask for more than you know it will sell when you first list your item. That way you can gauge the traffic you may see with it and then adjust accordingly.
I guess I never told you of my little spell of luck with selling stuff on eBay? In particular CD's. I use to scour used stores for unique items. Sometimes I would find some cool stuff.
I found this never seen before Ozark Mountain Daredevil's CD, wrapped for clearance of $5.
Since I had never seen it before anywhere and nothing online, I just posted it as 'Rare' for $10. It immediately shot up to $60 and then a bidding war went on. I eventually got $100 for it. I knew the used store had another one, snapped it up and sold it for less.
The kicker about this story is I got an email from a person who claims they were the Ozark Mountain Daredevils Manager. He asked me not to lie and say this was rare. I believe he actually said something about fraud and would sue me?
So I did a little more research. First on the CD and then the manager. Anyway, nothing popped up. So I respectfully wrote 'Manager' back and told him where I lived and could not find this CD available anywhere. In my opinion, that made it rare.
Never heard from him again. Dunno.
