OK, Conrad was a drug supplier. Obviously in it for the fame and money. Ignored the Hippocratic Oath. Ethically and morally a bad bad man. So a question comes to mind what was Michael's demands on this? I base this solely on an outside perspective, seeing Michael continually ignored good consultation and surrounded himself with those who will enable him.

Well, over the years Michael has employed numerous Doctor's for the sole purpose of having  them write any amount of prescriptions whenever he wanted. Murray is just another Doctor in a long line over the years. It's just that he got caught because he basically killed him. If Michael were still alive today, this would still be going on. Most likely, he would have moved onto another Doctor. Now, I don't know if the other's were supplying the same amount that Murray was, but I would say most if not all were doing pretty much the same thing.
