Pink - The Truth About Love - LIMITED EDITION CD Includes 4 BONUS Tracks : "My Signature Move", "Is This Thing On?", "Run", "Good Old Days"

When this went on sale last week, I searched for reviews of the EXTENDED edition. I found one. The first thing it said was the 4 extra songs are not throw aways. The are as good as the rest of the album. I bought the TARGET version based on that.

I got to listen to it several times over this time and it's true. The 4 extra songs measure up to the rest of album that is just so well done. Pink's song writing is all over and explores many different styles. While she treads on Pop, this is not Katy Perry pop. Truth About Love delivers. The title song actually sounded a bit cheerleader like. Reminded me of Toni Basil's Mickey or “Hollaback Girl” by Gwen Stefani. That's probably unfair for me to say that. Don't want you to think that way or that's bad. I liked it.

Two of the songs she does a duet with Nate Ruess and  another with Lily Rose Cooper (formerly Lily Allen).

Despite motherhood, most of her songs are about her passionate ideas coming from the stormy relationship with her now husband. Which honestly brings out the best in Pink, like it did with Adele.

Looking at the credits, I noticed her producer Greg Kurstin does just about everything including playing all the instruments. Where do people get that talent.

Buy this album and make sure to get the extended edition so you don't miss out.
