No idea who the first guitar player is. The kid was George's son. You know Tom and Jeff. Steve Winwood is on keyboard.

Downtown Julie Brown is on CNN right now and she name-dropped Paul Stanley, talking about how he was floored at what he was witnessing in concert alongside Julie. I never knew that. FYI, Julie still looks incredible.

Prince & Cee Lo Green - "Crazy" (Live in NYC)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfpkbjDwpsY

This is awesome! How is it that I've never heard Prince and Cee Lo sharing the stage before? Prince and his guitar just makes an already great song, even better. Downloading this right now. Not taking any chances that this gets pulled down for whatever reason.

Tributes in purple: Saying goodbye to Prince

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obifbRLU5h4

I saw this last night, but I thought it would be cool to post the video montage of all the countries and whatnot that are paying tribute to Prince by lighting up their landmarks in Purple.

It's inevitable that there will be a Prince Tribute Concert on par with the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. What I really want to see for the Prince Tribute is a wide range of bands performing. Not just Funk or R&B bands. I want to see and hear every type of genre covering his songs. From Metal and Rock bands to blues to funk to......everything. Ya know what I'm saying. It hasn't even been announced yet and I'm already getting pumped to see this.

Great thread Chiprocks.

here's a couple of goodies I enjoyed this morning and last night  Guitar Blues master Billy Gibbons reflects on how amazing Prince was as a player.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/arts-and-entertainment/wp/2016/04/22/defying-description-zz-tops-billy-gibbons-on-prince-the-sensational-guitarist/?tid=sm_fb

and an interview with his original guitarist...really interesting...make sure to watch the LOWER 2 clips...they are extended versions of the top video and have more depth and aren't edited as heavily.

enjoy friends!

I watched Megyn Kelly last night and Dez was also on there as well. It was the first time I had seen him since he quit the Revolution. It was a great interview.

The Billy Gibbons interview was really good for what it is, I just wished it was a 5 hour read. Too short. Leaves me wanting more.

It's hard not to be sad, but you should take joy in the fact that you have his music to savor from now until the end of time. I've been listening to nothing but Prince the last couple of days and it has been great rediscovering a lot of  his songs that I had forgotten all about.

Nice find! Sending it to my Roku now! I really hope someone was smart enough to record/video tape his final concert in its entirety. I really want to see that one for myself.
