Amy Winehouse Toxicology Report Shocker: “No Illegal Drugs In Her System” (Allegedly)

I was pretty certain that she had inhaled, drank and consumed every known drug and booze out there, that led to her demise. Shocking indeed. Say what you want about her personal life, she could sing. I mean, reaaaaaally sing and it's a shame to see such a promising career go to waste like this.

A rare talent indeed. So sad to see this happen.

Soon to be released, her last recording with Tony Bennett.

The last video of Amy Winehouse w/ Tony Bennett.

Wow, Body and Soul is already a great song. This duet just sent shivers up my spine. Maybe because of what I know on a great loss. Maybe it's just two phenomenal voices.

Not being morbid here, but if you're gonna go out, this is the way to do it. This is a fantastic song and has the makings of being an all-time classic. FYI, Tony just EXUDES coolness. What a stud. I'm still somewhat pissed that Amy's light was snuffed out so soon. That's a lot of good music that will never see the light of day.

:::sigh:::

Sometimes it is better to see the more positive things in life. Yes, this is a good note to go out on... nd let the negative stuff just fade away.

Coroner: Amy Winehouse died from too much alcohol

LONDON — A coroner says Amy Winehouse died as the unintended consequence of drinking too much alcohol.

Coroner Suzanne Greenaway gave a verdict of "death by misadventure," saying the singer had voluntarily consumed alcohol and risked the consequences.

Pathologist Suhail Baithun told the singer's inquest Wednesday that Winehouse had consumed a "very large quantity of alcohol" and was more than five times over the legal drunk-driving limit when she died.

The singer, who had fought drug and alcohol problems for years, was found dead in bed at her London home on July 23 at age 27.

An initial autopsy proved inconclusive, although it found no traces of illegal drugs in her system.

Winehouse's doctor, Dr. Christina Romete, said the singer had resumed drinking in the days before her death after a period of abstinence.

Alcohol doesn't kill people. Bartenders kill people. Enablers. Food for thought.

but....

.... there are a lot of people that have no need for a bartender. They get it all on their own.
