you referred to him as Corey in your episode 1 review and I knew it was wrong then but didn't correct you.

It's Jamey Jasta from Hatebreed.  Basically Corey before Corey was Corey.

He's an East Coast singer they all love (not they as in TMS) but he's like a very popular guy for basically no good reason like Corey to the other 99% of the people who don't know or care about his band.

The witch has spoken.

Now go fetch Wolfie, I need to see Valerie.

:)

Eddie claims to be a "Super KISS Fan". Put your money where your mouth is! Invite Vinnie Vincent on as the Special Guest Guitarist / Interview. Until that happens, he will always be a second rate KISS fan. Don't even bother asking Ace to be the Special Guest Guitarist. He won't do it. But Vinnie, he'd do it just knowing it would generate a lot of buzz for Mr. Howard Hughes.

sounds interesting. Eddie will still hate it. What's funny to me is I don't understand why everyone its Vinnie.  the guy hasn't been in the band in 25 years who gives a s*** let it go right?he was still a part of one of the greatest band ever give the guy a little respect for his history if nothing else.

The fact that he is a recluse and has been since the late 90's makes him even more of a fascinating person to watch. That and Boyz Gonna Rock of course. That alone makes him the perfect guest on TMS.

the concert I am watching the kiss sign has lights out on the first S and it looks tacky!!!  even during the first song of the set before they came out and dresta bunch of the light bulbs were broken or burnt out.  oh god here comes Gene's solo.  I kind of wish there was a few more older songs on the set its not bad but its a little lacking.  either that or play a ton of new s*** or stuff they never play live that would be pretty cool

Not a fan of any of the new costumes. They are actually costumes I'd expect from a tribute band. Not the real thing.

Episode 3: Rex Brown & Sebastian Bach

Special Guest Drummer: Vinny Appice

Well, it looks like the TMS Top 5 isn't a thing of the past. Somewhat contradictory to what they had said (only 2 would air). Anyway, they finally pull a Top 5 out of the hat that actually has some merit and worth talking about: Top 5 Comeback Albums. My Top 3: 1. KISS Creatures Of The Night 2. AC/DC Back In Black 3. Van Halen A Different Kind Of Truth. My criteria is a bit different from what the guys were using as the definition of a 'Comeback', which they are basing on record sales. For me it's strictly based on artistic reinvention. With Creatures, you have a band floundering in a sea of despair known as The Elder. With Back In Black you have a band seriously trying to establish where the band is going after losing Bon Scott and with Truth, you have a huge question mark about a singer that has seen his best days behind him and a guitar player circling the drain of being an alcoholic.

I like the new segment called 'Rank' wherein whoever the guest may be, are ask to put their Albums in order of Favorite to least Favorite. This is something every fan does at home with their favorite band and singers, so it only makes sense to have it on TMS as well. Tonight was of course putting Pantera's albums in order, given that Rex Brown was one of the guest on the show. Sebastian Bach was typical Sebastian Bach. Crazy, manic and all over the place. But that makes him fun to watch and his stories about Pantera was good. Vinny was great on the Drums.

Episode 4: Jake E. Lee & Rick Allen

Special Guest Drummer: Vinny Appice

This episode was HUGE for me and was kind of like opening all your presents on Christmas morning. So why is it so? Namely because they manage to get Jake E. Lee on the show. This is a about as big as it gets in the metal world (save for Gene and Paul of course). Jake is basically a modern day version of Howard Hughes, who has become somewhat of a recluse for the past 20 years. The only sighting that I saw of Jake was his brief cameo in the TMS Special. But in this episode he is there to actually talk and it was great to hear what he had to say. Not only that, he has a new band coming out called Red Dragon Cartel, with a record currently in production. What a great name for a band huh? Red Dragon Cartel. Awesome name.

The other reason why I totally dig this episode was having Rick Allen on the show. He has always been a great interviee in pretty much everything I've seen him in and he didn't disappoint here either. He is fun to listen to as he has plenty to say. Very well spoken. Loved it when Rick joined Vinny on the drums. Would like to see more of that off-the-cuff spontaneity to the proceedings. Overall, a fantastic hour long show and definitely in my Top 5 episodes ever. Will be watching this one again real soon.

Now bring on Jake!! I can't wait to hear what he and the band will deliver.
