Special Guest Drummer: Carmine Appice

TMS definitely dropped the ball on this episode. This should have been a great episode, but it left me feeling like I got gypped because I'm left with the idea of what it could have been. So, TMS is going to have Queensr˙che on the show, but only decide to bring in two members, one of which I know absolutely nothing about other than previous bands he has been associated with. It's not that his and Scott's interview sucked. It's just that if the rest of the band is already there, especially Michael Wilton and Eddie Jackson, why the f*ck would you have them sitting in the audience? Seriously, this has to be one of the dumbest moves the show has ever done. So many questions, very few answers.

As for Dave Mustaine, I will say that his interview this time around was much better. It's still Dave, but you can get the sense that he was definitely more comfortable sitting there whereas before, as I remember it, he was a deer in headlights. Overall, it was a decent episode, but it's one that I will never bother re-watching again. FYI, I still hate the new segment 'Metal Modem'. Get rid of it. 3 1/2 Stars out of 5.
