Queen Forever (2014)

Quote
First Queen gave us their own official vodka, and now we have the first official details of the new Queen compilation we’ll be listening to while we drink it.

As previously reported, ‘Queen Forever’ will include a small amount of previously unreleased material, including ‘There Must Be More to Life Than This,’ one of several songs that deceased frontman Freddie Mercury worked on with Michael Jackson in the early ’80s. Fans will also be treated to a finished version of ‘Let Me in Your Heart Again,’ a discarded leftover from the sessions for 1984′s ‘The Works,’ as well as what the band promises is “a scorching new stripped-down ballad version” of the Mercury solo hit ‘Love Kills.’

Due out Nov. 10 in single- and double-disc editions, the collection is rounded out by singles and fan favorites that guitarist Brian May calls “things that we have collected together that are representative of our growth rather than the big hits.” According to the press release announcing ‘Queen Forever,’ the track listing was curated by May and drummer Roger Taylor, and is meant to “represent a definitive collection of Queen’s timeless love songs.”

Take a look at the track listing for the double-disc ‘Queen Forever’ below, and pre-order your copy through Queen’s official online store.

Very interested in this but not sure I'd buy it immediately as it doesn't have a ton of new stuff. This will be a wait and see one for me.

Yea, I'm going to see if the library will get this.

I figured they squeezed most of what they had in that last collection after his death.
