Led Zeppelin II - Train

I'm not really sure why a band would faithfully recreate an iconic album, note for note. Train does a fine job, but nothing new. Pat Monahan does an almost spot on Robert Plant. Again, not sure why someone would buy this over the original

Some Bill Bailey tracks for you.

Dueling Citars.

Trip-Hop Anthem.  Admit it, this combination never occurred to you before.

Kraftwerk.  Arguably his most famous number.

That was very entertaining. I'm going to admit, I VR never heard his name or know who is.  :-\

He does seem to have variety

Discovering all kinds of music and artists. So exciting.

Out of the gate from Fear The Walking Dead season 2, episode 8, first scene is this little haunting tune.

This is my brand new find from Spotify and Pandora, the Hipster C*cktail station.
I heard a few songs that caught my ear ( like Kaleo has done ) recently and just love the sound and vibe of Ms. Emerald.

Caro Emerald

Man, I haven't heard from Pomplamousse in a LONG time.  At the end of the video, they explain why.

Because Mac and I are watching "Better Late Than Never," there's the Girl's Generation music video "Gee" that the cast was visiting.  They're not actually IN the video, though, that was a lie.  NBC thought no one would check.  In 2016.

So, I may have mentioned on here that the original Jungle Book might well be my favourite movie.  It was certainly my FIRST one, and always a go-to when I'm feeling down.

Anyway, about a week ago I was shopping around and found an old Louis Prima CD, from, like, the DAWN of CDs.  Bought it, and have been listening to it a couple tracks at a time.  I like it quite a bit, but more than once there's been a song (like "bongo bango bongo I'm so happy in the jungle...") where my mind just goes "that's King Louie!"  I can't NOT picture King Louis singing some of these songs, and it just brings this big doofy smile to my face.  Especially when it happens the first time.  I finished the CD so I don't know the next time I'll have a reaction like that, but it's one of those rare happenstance moments that I just love.
