Stephen Wilkes Photography

Go so his site to see a better refined display.
I like these so much, I wouldn't mind one hanging in the house. It's not so much as a simple night to day photo, but all kinds of little complex things going on in the photo.

Saw this guy on Sunday Morning today and was just blown away at his work. I thought very cool. An immense amount of work to produce the Day To Night project.

Time travel within a photograph

Quote
Photographer Stephen Wilkes does something both jarring and beautiful with photographs: He merges images from different times of day together to show the passage of time. Martha Teichner reports on Wilkes' process to create stunning depictions of time.

So no Photoshop manipulation at all? Or is all this done in a dark room when developing the images? Either way, they are very cool indeed.

I would imagine it's totally digital manipulation. He was walking through his 1400 photo's to get the final product. Good lord.

It appears his first project was physical manipulation collage of photos.

I agree.... pretty cool
