Voice Over (foreign w/ subtitles; 9:30)

Interesting story telling a simple but important moment in time and making it seem something else.

Quote
Voice Over opens with an astronaut who has crash-landed on a distant planet and needs to reach his capsule before he runs out of air. The only thing that can possibly save him? The mighty voice over, which narrates the astronaut's story as well as those of two other potentially doomed souls. But how can the voice redirect the narratives to a single, fulfilling end?

Written by Luiso Berdejo and directed by Martin Rosete, Voice Over has been racking up awards on the film festival circuit. And it's clear why: it's an intelligent and beautifully shot exploration of narrative structure and the conventions of storytelling.
