Yeah, I'm definitely going to be watching Mayweather vs McGregor tonight no doubt, even if I know that this is going to be a bore of a fight. Yup, I said 'bore'. This is how it's going to go.....Mayweather is going to run around for 10 Rounds...McGregor is going to be frustrated the whole fight because he can't get to him. Actually, the fight will end somewhere in the 4-5th round. Mayweather is conditioned to go 10 Rounds. What's McGregor's average in UFC? 2 rounds? UFC...even in a Championship Fight only goes 5 Rounds. So he is clearly not conditioned to take the fight very far. Honestly, I think he will be out of gas by the end of Round 1, start to waltze around in Round 2 and 3 to refuel his tank, get frustrated in Round 4 when Mayweather is still refusing to engage and waste what little gas he has and then BOOM...Mayweather drops him for the win.
With that said, what makes this fight intriguing is that anything can happen. For all of McGregor's limited boxing skills...he has a punchers chance. There is a chance, however small it is, that Mayweather will engage to take him out for all the sh*t that McGregor talked during the media hype and that right there may have been McGregor's best skill for the fight. Get under Mayweather's skin with all the name calling and smack talk just to push him into a fight and take him out of his 20 year run fest. Get to a man's ego and you got a shot and pulling off an upset because he may feel like he's not a man for letting McGregor get away with running his mouth for the past few months.
