NBC is even thinking about firing
Bob Costas. What he said was spot-on and something I agree with 100%. So the idea that he could be fired just blows my mind. If
NBC does in fact fire
Costas, they will just have confirmed what America has known all along, that major corporations want to walk all over your right to freedom of speech. Sure, they can argue that you can't say such and such on the job, which
Costas was. But what he said wasn't racist or degrading or offensive in any way. He was bringing up a point about an issue that has been ignored by the powers that be in politics for far too long and that the more we (politicians) continue to ignore it, more people unfortunately will continue to die, be it domestic violence or drive-by's or any other senseless way.
