Overall, the London Summer Olympics were awesome. Not because we dominated in the Medal category, but that there were some amazing performances by a lot of different athletes from all over the world. Some new stars were born (Team USA Women's Gymnastics, Missy Franklin) and some legends calling it a career (Michael Phelps, Misty May and Kerri Walsh). Just a very enjoyable 2 weeks for me, in spite of NBC dropping the ball in a lot of instances.

As for the Closing Ceremonies, it was pretty good. Not great. I never expect it to be great because in most cases, the one throwing the party usually throws everything in, including the kitchen sink. I will say that for me the highlite of the night was clearly Queen, more specifically, Freddie Mercury. I knew, as long as a year ago, that they would work in Freddie's 'sing-along' bit into the program and it was awesome as always. I give.....
