I dunno the details or anything, but Vimeo isn't just a video hosting site like Youtube, it has a reputation of being more artsy, it's a place to find quality work by professionals, while Youtube is more... it's the public forum, if that makes sense.  I also think if they went onto Youtube, and people ripped them off, it would be hard to differentiate the proper one from the leeches.  Vimeo doesn't have problems like that.  There might also be better copyright/download protection there.  I would LIKE for the show to find its way onto Netflix or Amazon, especially if that comes with full-length episodes and a bigger budget, but right now they seem to own and control it themselves and that might be something that Netflix and Amazon can't really offer.  Ownership beats easy eyeballs, and the fans who want to see it will follow them there easy.  They already did, I think Con Man broke the Vimeo record.  They're like the big fish in the small pond there, not a bad situation to be in.
